Without a declaration of war, congressional approval, a U.N. resolution, or even a broad coalition of international allies, it appears President Barack Hussein Obama is about to lead the U.S. into yet another war. This time against the sovereign nation of Syria.
In the words of Rep. Scott Rigell (R-VA), "Engaging our military without prior congressional authorization would violate the separation of powers that is clearly delineated in the Constitution."
But when did the Constitution matter to President Obama? During his entire tenure as our Commander-in-Chief, when has the voice of the American people ever mattered to him? The answer: Only when it serves his reckless and dangerous agenda to radically transform our nation into his own liberal, statist image.
Make no mistake. America is on the brink of war. According to various media reports, the U.S. is expected to engage in two or three days of targeted bombing on dozens of sites. But in fact, attacking Syria with U.S. rockets would actually benefit Al-Qaeda -- bringing the rebels a step closer to power in that embattled region!++ Don't Let Obama Drag America Into War!
Obama appears ready, once again, to arrogantly pushing aside the Constitution and the carefully crafted system of checks and balances to thrust us into another Middle East conflict. If the President follows through on this threat of military force without consulting and receiving authorization from Congress, he will be acting against the wishes of an overwhelming majority of Americans who don't want U.S. intervention in Syria.
Don't let Obama drag America into another Middle East war. Send him a clear message by going here now to sign the national petition condemning any military action in Syria: www.grassfire.com/2013/08/Syria
Add your name to the "No War in Syria" petition, and demand the President respect and uphold the Constitution of the United States. Grassfire will deliver your petitions to the White House and to key leaders in Congress in the days ahead. Click here to sign now! After taking action, please forward this message to your family and friends. Urge them to stand with you by signing the "No War in Syria" petition. http://grassfire.com/2013/08/Syria/ Thank you, in advance, for your efforts.
P.S. If Mr. Obama leads us, yet again, into another questionable Middle East war without congressional approval, he will be silencing the voice of the American people. Don't allow the President to gag you. Fight back by clicking here and adding your name to the national petition condemning any U.S. military action in Syria. http://grassfire.com/2013/08/Syria/

They were warned and children are dieing. We can not let things like this go and we need to start caring about the world as a whole. Those people are defenseless. I'm a liberal and my husbands in the military. How can you watch videos of those children crying for their parents and not think we should do something about it? We warned them and they did it anyway, if we don't do something now crazy leaders are going to think they can do whatever they want.

LOL! If the United States was attacked on our own soil and Obama said we need to fight back the Republicans would say that was the wrong approach!

Can they not hear how stupid they sound? Well, maybe they are so used to listening to the far right wingers that they no longer hear the rest of their party, or the country!

Do you really think Republicans would say that or did you just need to start off with a lie to make them look bad?

You can listen to the CNN or you can listen to FOX and now we can listen to Aljazeera.

Russia to send ships to eastern Mediterranean as US mulls Syria strike

"Russia will send two ships to the east Mediterranean to strengthen its naval presence because of the "well-known situation" there, Interfax news agency said on Thursday referring to the Syria crisis, as the West prepares for possible military strikes and Russian citizens were evacuated from Syria.

"A large anti-submarine ship of the Northern Fleet will join [existing naval forces] over the next few days," a source in the Russian General Staff told Interfax.

The agency quoted a source in the armed forces' general staff as saying an anti-submarine vessel and a missile cruiser would be sent in the coming days because the situation "required us to make some adjustments" in the naval force."

George Bush's administration was full of baloney and hinney. Foolish war in Iraq, congressional approval or not, and destruction of the economy is what Bush will be known for. Don't care for Obama either, but he, at least, had the good sense to get out of Iraq. But George will be considered one our worst presidents.

Walt Disney's new film called "Jet Black," the non-racist version of "Snow White," has been put on hold. All of the 7 dwarfs: Dealer, Stealer, Mugger, Forger, Drive By, Pimp, and Wog have refused to sing "Hi Ho" because it offends black prostitutes. They also say they

have no damn intention of singing "It's off to work we go."
