You're eligible for the discount immediately, you just have to have a CSM key it in. You should get your actual card with your first paycheck.

It is 90 days. CSM 's can no longer key it in. That policy was changed....... As a present employee, I had that situation arise just recently. Loss prevention informed me that the new employee had to wait 90 days....... You were saying ????????

CSM can turn a key to give new associates discount. I have work for Wal-Mart for 20 years, any csm can do this or member of mgmt.

It used to immediately but now it is 90 days till you get your discount. You can not have a csm or manager key it in for you anymore.

I don't know about always but you are right on this one. It's 90 days. I never got my card with my first paycheck. It actually came in the mail after my 90 days.

As an employee, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that you have to wait 90 days for your discount card. It's possible to key in a discount, but only if you have already received your card and have memorized or written down your discount number. until you have a number (receive card in mail) the only way to receive a discount is to know someone who already has one; which is also against policy. i guess the "Former" in your name explains why your incorrect.
