I rather go to the Freewill United Baptist.
They don't enforce tithe paying.
Plus, they wont run you off if you feel the spirit and shout.

To Methodist, on 3rd comment; your church would call the law if the spirit hit someone and they shouted.
Plus your denomination, is supporting the religion of Muslims.
I don't hate them, but they sure hate us.

All Gods do not lead to one! Their God wants to kill all Americans and infidels as they call us. They want us to renounce God or be beheaded in the near future when they get their hands on America.

The Christian God will forgive you, if you pray to him.

Us just getting on here and saying what we rather have and do, does nothing for scripture.
We have to be willing to follow God's commands and to read his wordl

Did God tell you that? How do you know they were Christian? Did they follow the teachings of Christ exactly?

Evil has always hid itself among Christians, what better way to make all Christians look bad.

If Christians are so bad, how come we haven't seen Christians feeding unbelievers to the lions?

I think the quote is more along the lines of:
More people have been murdered in the name of RELIGION then all the other wars put together.

In other words, The world will be a better place when everyone STOPS believing in their Gods.

The first quote was certainly of solid substance. From the time Roman Emp. Constantine decided to embrace Christianity, millions of people were slaughtered in the name of "The Cross". Rome continued to conquer pagan peoples, and force them to convert, at the edge of the sword. It continued for hundreds of years, in many countries, even after the fall of mighty Rome. Read about The Crusades, The Knights Templar, The Spanish Inquisition, and the list goes on....

Does it matter now? Who knows.. the future is speculative, but history is solid.

Paying tithes is not legal scripture under the NT covenant anyway. Original tithes was to the Government in order for them to take care of the poor that were disabled. We then "Rendered to Ceasur what is Ceasur's.
Let us research the scriptures. First the OT.
SOME SHOCKING TRUTHS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN TITHING DOCTRINE
1.Abraham never tithed on his own personal property or livestock.

2.Jacob wouldn’t tithe until God blessed him first.

3.Only Levite priests could collect tithes, and there are no Levite priests today.

4.Only food products from the land were tithable.

5.Money was never a tithable commodity.

6.Christian converts were never asked to tithe anything to the Church.

7.Tithing in the Church first appears centuries after completion of the Bible.

ALL SCRIPTURAL REFERENCES TO TITHING

We will now go through all the Scriptural references in the Bible on tithe, tithes, and tithing:

We must accept the literal word of god as it is written.

The last chapter of Revelation, says if we add to or take away from it, our part will be taken out of the book of life.

Yes, and since that is true, woe unto Roman Emperor Constantine & his Bishops at the 1st Council of Nicea. And, woe unto King James & his Monks. Get a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and see for yourself the erroneous translations; put in place to serve the need for power & control through deception & manipulation.

It doesn't matter what denomination you are or aren't. There is good and evil everywhere. God does call for us to Love one another above all else, however, and that's the only thing that bothers me about it all! So many proclaim to be Christians yet, show no compassion or love toward other human beings. Sure, we all get angry at times and feel hurt or like we've been done unjustly, but eventually we have to let it go and Let God! Forgive and Live life to the fullest in the way God called us to. Each and every one of us had fallen short at some time or another, but a strong true Christian knows to get back up and not give up when the going gets rough. Lets all choose to live one another according to Gods Will and when we learn to do this the world will see Him through us. Our denomination doesn't matter. What matters is if we choose to accept Christ and love each other as He commanded us to do. Love to each of you! God Bless and goodnight!

Praying does no good, if you want to get along you have to show it with your actions and kind words.

We must remember that the Bible did not exist when that was written so that particular curse was only applied to the Book of Revelations which was written by John while in prison on the Isle of Patmos.

The Book of Revelations was placed at the end of the "Biblio" by the KJ scribes because they knew that the simple minded wouldn't notice how far it was off in chronological order of sacred writings.

There are many books mentioned in the Bible that Christ and His disciples quoted from that are no longer around for us to read for ourselves. If those books were important enough for them to quote from, why are they now missing?
