lol...i love how many people dont understand what happened when he put that sign up in his yard. All he really did was make his neighbors dream a reality. It always amazes me how everyone pisses and moans about the grass being greener on the other side, but then gets mad when someone tells them to jump the fence. The fact of the matter is that gun control "laws" will only be followed by "law abiding" people. The criminals will always have weapons...so rather than pissing into the wind about inanimate objects...why dont we start making examples out of criminals? I mean...look at florida, they enacted stand your ground and crime dropped by nearly a third in 4 years. And yes i know there are people who exploit the stand your ground laws...but if you're looking for a flawless system to create a polite society...you might as well use your gun on yourself and wait for the next life.

i know its all a big made up joke and everything.
i can see the humor in it.
but if it was real and really did happen, the man with the sign has just as much right to show his support to bear arms, with his sign as the other guy does against guns.
you 2 are not making any sense, by getting on here and acting like a couple of school children. you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
See they really do want ALL your rights. Second Amendment is the TEETH of a otherwise paper tiger.

don't have to go far to see what kind of signs gun toting rednecks put up. In Crab Orchard on a house there's a confederate flag and beside it a black doll hanging from a noose. it's on his front pouch where you can see it from the road.

My sign says: "My next door neighbor wants to ban all guns. His house is unarmed. Out of respect for their opinions, I promise not to use my guns to PROTECT THEM".
the lib should put a sign telling how many guns and electronics you have and list what hours you're not home.

Oh yes! Let's pass laws because I stare at peoples' homes. Don't look.

Then again. We could pass a law that would allow them to blend in in any neighborhood. That way you might need help in the middle of the night and knock on his door.

Liberal anti-Constitution logic escapes me?

Again? Gun ownership is a Constitutional right. Free Speech is another Constitutional right. Just as you can not yell fire in crowded buildings you could not list items the neighbor owns. Only the things he doesn't as with his First Amendment protected sign. Law is fun. Pass some more.

It seems like the anti 2nd amendment posters are generally ignorant of the 1st amendment also. Must be products of a public school education.

The liberals should get more creative with their anti guns movement by wearing t shirts saying ( Hi I'm unarmed ) and with their gay rights movements with shirts that say ( Hi I'm gay ) lol or shirts that say ( Hi I'm a nazi idealist) I would put a sign up but all my neighbors seem normal and we tend to agree with each other.

It's funny how liberals LOVE their freedom of speech, as long as you are saying something that they agree with. Say something that they don't and they want to shut you up really quick. Everyone has a right to THEIR opinion. They also don't realize that that right is under just as much attack as our 2nd amendment. All in the name of Homeland Security. Don't believe me? Google "Constitution Free Zone" and read the really scary stuff that pop us there kids.

Okay: The original poster gets into a gun vs. no gun argument with a neighbor. The original poster was an idiot for posting something so stupid in his yard. Who does the original poster think he is? What right does he have to open his neighbor's home as a target? He can hide behind "freedom of speech", but the liberal neighbor has the same right. So it escalates. If you don't like the fact that your neighbor is anti-gun, don't talk to your neighbor. He doesn't like the fact that you like guns, but he isn't being an a$$ by putting a stupid sign in his yard calling YOU out. I don't usually side with liberals, but in this instance... the liberal is the better neighbor, because HE isn't putting stupid signs in his yard. Geeez!!!
If you put something STUPID in your yard, EXPECT something STUPID in return.

This is where Republican logic comes into play. You feel a pro-gun person has the right to endanger an anti-gun person for speaking his opinion by willfully making him the target of possibly violent criminals (placing a sign next to his home). But you feel the anti-gun person shouldn't be permitted to do the same thing.

Your statement also shows an important element of Republican logic. You feel a person which believes differently than you shouldn't be permitted to voice his views without a type of malevolent retaliation against him.

So who is really the believers in freedom of speech, and who wants to restrict it?

Yep, I totally agree with you ..... people put themselves in danger if they use freedom of speech around a Republican. See? I can occasionally agree with something you guys say. Aren't you proud of me?
