What are they vandalizing ? Cars ? Homes?
Just so you know

Mail boxes, garage doors, stop signs, vehicles. If I catch one of these little punks in my driveway they will get the beat down their mommy and daddy should have given them to prevent this kind of behavior.

Are they stealing? Breaking into cars ? Or just vandalizing? It makes me so mad that people do this. You can't have something nice without someone trying to damage it.

I live in cardinal heights and I can say that one neighbor had a car window busted and a camera and Coach book bag was stolen. This man chased a young man but he got away and ran left on Oak Ridge Church Rd. Another neighbor just had his windshield busted and tires slashed. All I know is people are going to be sitting up keeping an eye out and if these people come back and get caught then so help them.

And I have to add the sentiment is right with your conclusion but it's a little ludicrous to see someone say "just vandalizing", as if that alone is no big deal.

My neighbor had a trailor stolen out of his driveway in broad daylight. This has to stop! Not long after that a house down the street was broken into and robbed. Whoever is doing all of this has a lot of time on their hands and is watching the subdivision very closly. Any odd vehicles or people need to be reported to the police. The sad thing is there is a Laurel Co. Sheriff living in Phase II.

The boy who got his windshield busted and tires slashed just aired his tires up and took out of here fast, probably hoping to make it to a shop in time. That alone pisses me off to no return. He shouldn't have to be doing that. I can only hope these guys come to my house and I catch them. I'd like to hold them long enough for my neighbor to get here and pay them back for what they did to his vehicle!

Neighborhood watch needs to go back into effect. They may think everyone that lives over here is a little older/retired but that's certainly not the case. There's a few over here these little degenerates wouldn't want to tussle with. I'd have no qualms putting a hurting on them and waiting for the police to come do their jobs.

Set up a neighborhood watch program. Get a camera for your property. I have seen cases where kids vandalizing property, were kids whose parents were friends with someone in the neighborhood. Just remember even if they are someone you know, or are related to, still call the authorities.

It's not just kids folks. Someone tried to steal my neighbors riding mower last summer. Two grown men pulled up with a trailer attached to a truck and made up a story that ______(made up a fake name) said they could "borrow" the riding mower in back. Luckily, a neighbor knew better and wouldn't let them have it. They were going to push the mower around (through a gated chain link fence) and take it. If the neighbor had not have been home the mower would have been stolen. A week before one street over a man had a trailer stolen out of his driveway.

The neighbor that caught the men attempting to steal the mower should have taken a plate number.

I grew up in that community as a child! It used to happen then to in sperts, mostly the cars getting broke into. It is or was a fairly high class area to live and crooks know that there a valuable things too be had. In around 1998 1996 alot of people had a watch program there.
I would be glade to help solve the problem if any one is interested in employing me I need to add a little extra income. I know that community very well. I would say that the culprits are sneeking in through phase 2 are by the venders mall or crossing over through the wooded lot that borders campground rd. Mostly braking into cars I would bet it is either an old resident or a few kids who live in the area it self

Install security equipment and catch them. A good quality camera system can put a criminal behind bars.

There have been several houses to put surveillance cameras up. The entire neighborhood is fed up and joining forces.

IHAVE FRIENDS THERE AND I WOULDN'T DARE MESS WITH THEM. THEY HAVE CAMERA UP AND THEY WILL SHOOT YOU, THEN CALL THE CORONER TO COME GET THE BODIES. THEY HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF WHO IT IS AND THE POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR THEM.

This makes me so upset to read about this. I grew up in cardinal heights from the time I was born until a few years ago. I remember I would walk around the nighborhood after dark & there was never a worry to leave our door unlocked. I hope you all find out who is doing the vandalism so the neighborhood can be safe like it used to be.

Well! With hidden infra red camera system. Exterior motion detector lights and sensors and I'm home 24/7 90% of the year I've been staying up and walking the neighborhood between 1am and 3am on a rotating basis. I carry an SKS assault rifle with 30 round clips, armor piercing rounds in my vehicle and in my home. It has a military night vision scope. A 13 yr. old vandal or thief or a 30 yr. old one in the dark look the same. No court etc. just another useless body gone. We are watching you now, waiting for you to come into our neighborhood again. You may walk in, but you will be carried out. Thieves and vandals are diseased beings at any age and should be exterminated, not counseled or arrested. With the economy, drugs etc. it will get worse and we in Cardinal heights are going to put Em out of business for good. Stay out of here!

I don't carry the rifle when I walk around my neighborhood, it's in my vehicle or my home. I carry a pistol with a concealed carry permit when I walk the neighborhood. I use a walkie talkie with another neighbor monitoring while I'm out. I'm not crazy, just taking a stand to protect my family, my home and property and our neighborhood.
