We just relocated to Corbin from out of state 3 months ago. We're in the Bee Creek area in Whitley County.
It's beautiful out here, but we don't understand, since the power is underground, why are there so many power outages here? Four in the last month. I realize there are still poles above ground, but last night was another 4 hours with no power again. Is anyone else having this problem out this way?

Saw a telephone pole that someone smashed into last night. No wonder the power went out! When I used to come down to Corbin from Michigan, it seemed that most people drove soooo slow. LOL. Now.. WOW.. people take these back road curves like they're at the Speedway. I've seen so many bad accidents here from "speeders". It's awful.

WOW yankee! I didn't think I was being rude. I just feel bad for the families that are losing so many people to accidents cuz of speed.
We love it here in Corbin and always have. We have a lot of friends in Corbin and London, which is why we moved here to retire. Wouldn't go north ever again. Sorry if I offended you :(
