I have lived a lot of years, in different states, in the city and in the country, but never have I seen a time when ALL the birds disappeared! We live out in the Bee Creek area where there's tons of wide open, grassy, hilly, full of trees areas where the birds congregate all day. They're sometimes out chirping even before sunrise.

Yesterday, after about lunch time, they vanished. It was the weirdest, scariest thing I've ever seen. Not one bird! I have seen some robins out this morning. Does anyone know anything about why this would happen? "worried" said that they had dead birds on their lawn. On any given day, we have at least 50 to 100 on the lawns or in the trees.

If anyone has some info, please post it.
Thank you

I sure hope someone finds out what's going on. No birds out here again this afternoon. This is pretty scary. Why would ALL the birds just be gone? Poison? Something in the air? Are we breathing it?

The birds are probably confuse and headed back down south. The birds have decided that it's still winter here in Ky.

LOL! Very true, "black birds". I did find out one answer though. We had high winds for two days. The smaller birds don't like flying with that kind of wind. As soon as the wind stopped.. the birds were back. When you live on a hill, you get more wind than most. I am kinda new here and really didn't know why the birds weren't around. I got my answer from a reliable source.

For those of you that thought I was crazy, that's ok. When you see and hear the birds all the time and then they are literally gone, it makes you wonder.
