contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours

the underlying factor in your posting is the key word "believe".

That's just fairy-tale mythology. Time to grow up. Time to give up your imaginary friends.

He works in my life. I am well grown. Nothing imaginary about it. More real than any words I can say.

I think people work in your life. I think you are giving too much credit to your imaginary friend and not enough credit to your loved ones.

Right...and Allah works in the lives of Muslims. Lord Krishna and multiple other deities work in the lives Hindus. A plethora of gods worked in the lives of the ancient greeks. Our mental institutions are full of people who believe invisible characters work in their lives.

I guess if you believe everything that exists is an accident or a bilogical miracle then you can't understand a personal relationship with The Creator.
Our mental institutions are also filled with people who don't know The Father.

"I guess if you believe everything that exists is an accident or a bilogical miracle" There is no such thing as "miracles." And you seem to know nothing about Biology.

"then you can't understand a personal relationship with The Creator." You can't have a relationship with a imaginary being...just like the Muslims and Hindus do NOT have relationships with their deities. You are all deluded.

"Our mental institutions are also filled with people who don't know The Father" LOL, your god can get in the long line of imaginary friends vying for supremacy.

what you think people speaking differing languages are going to use the first person names for the same entities?

or you believe that two different cultures are going to assign/define the exacting same attributes to their understanding of someone else?

i have a sibling whose partner doesn't relate to them in the same way as i do. imagine how the relationship changed based on the persons cultural relationship and experience to the observed. everyone doesn't experience the same thing in the exact same way. that is reality. you're bucking reality.

adapt or get left behind.

I know enough about Biology to know it can't explain our beginning with any authenticity. I have also experienced many miracles Our Father has gave me throughout life that could not of happened by chance. Yes, there are miracles.

You -ass-u-me-(when you assume you make an ass out of u and me!!!) us atheists "dont know"....But the truth is most of us were dedicated/shouting/praying/wor shipping/bible thumping christians and were very interested in "god" the "bible" and being the best christian we could be which ultimately lead us to really research and educate ourselves on the christian faith/jesus/history/the complete bible/historical writings/and history of the earth........

And THATS what made us atheists because once we scratched the surface of our religion we found it to be a fraud.

Thats just the honest truth. Could it be that YOU just dont know?

Could it be? I mean I know two sides of the story....you limit yourself to just one.....

Deities differ from each other in many ways, not just in name. People around the world have invented probably thousands of gods. Religions are false, but they reveal a lot about human psychology.

"I know enough about Biology to know it can't explain our beginning with any authenticity." We know how humans came to be. The question is, how did the first life arise? Humans arrived very late in the history of life on earth. Go get an education, and maybe start by learning the difference between Abiogenesis and Evolutionary Biology.

You have not experienced miracles. You are deluded.

or the universe has attributes that can be defined in innumerable ways. the universe has literally created/conceived infinite numbers of life forms from energy and all of them have varying levels of intelligence.
