lol... i do love that!
gizmo, my monster in/out cat went missing this past weekend. well, actually he went out Friday night before the rains came and didn't get back to the house quick enough before it was pouring buckets. so i suppose he just gave up and hunkered down somewhere, which is rare for him because almost always he beats the rain in. i figured all Saturday, that where ever he was, he had decided to stay but when he had not returned by Sunday night i had hubby out looking for him. i even went down to the pound yesterday after work just to make sure someone had not mistaken him for a stray but, as usual...just about the time i really started to panic..... he was waiting for me on the porch when i got home and was very vocal telling me about the rain and has not yet ventured back out yet. i have had a few in the past that disappear for a week or so then show up....but he has always made an everyday appearance. really wish he would just decide to be inside all the time where i can hover over him but you know how it goes.... some birds just wont be caged. if he wants out bad enough he will make your life absolutely miserable till you open the door. i couldn't beg the others out with a dead fish....they like the pampered life too much.

looks like I got the attention of one of the topix mods from Palo Alto again. I know you guys are all over this thread especially when someone posts the truth about what is really going on in the world that doesn't fit with the mainstream media propaganda. Your insults mean nothing to me, in fact, I take it as a compliment that I have gotten your attention because why else would you respond to a 'dummie' talking nonsense? Why? because it isn't nonsense and you well know it, that's why you're here :0)

You are sorely mistaken, and quite obviously an uneducated, judgmental, minimum wadge paid, trained Obama loving monkey. Mod #12 isn't it? Go cash your 150 dollar weekly check and STFU, you couldn't aggravate a bull-dog with a sack full of cats boy. LMAO at the thought.

Sorry, that would be a NO. I don't eat that crap. I am a spoiled biotch. If I was starving maybe, but I put that right up their with canned mackeral. haha

If you are just being a smartass about my posts, please just scroll down past them and continue on what you are attempting to do. Argue with the Mods or something. Try the political threads they are full of spam. Maybe you can get a recipe from them.

I am not posting them for you anyway.

@betty, loved the cat story. I can identify with that one.

Don't think you posted the carpet shampoo, if you did I must of passed it up scrolling through the bs. lol

Carpet Shampoo Solution:

1 cup oxiclean*
1 cup febreeze*
1 cup distilled white vinegar

*The homemade versions work fabulously!

Pour contents into shampooer tub and mix with hot water to fill tub completely. This will not only clean your carpets it will also deodorize. It will smell slightly of vinegar until the carpet is dry.

Be sure to test spot with the solution just to be safe, however this should be safe for ALL carpets.

Nothing like making your own and saving money. I am glad they post these. Probably does a better job too.

Seen these and thought of Una, may he RIP. I still miss him. I know he loved the duck stories and Godvine even when he mocked them. He watched them or he wouldn't have been able to comment on their content. So these are for him:

Group of People Do the Kindest Thing for a Duck Family

During rush hour, a sweet group of people do the kindest thing for a family of ducks that are trying to cross the road. You won't believe what length these people went to to protect God's creatures.

http://www.godvine.com/Group-of-People-Do-the...

World's largest rubber ducky shows up in Hong Kong
Dutch artist says he's aiming to make people more consciousness of each other.

He would of loved this one too, I immediately thought of him when I seen it. lol Miss that ole fart.

What is a fart?
A fart it is a pleasant thing, It gives the belly ease, It warms the bed in winter, And suffocates the fleas.

A fart can be quiet, A fart can be loud, Some leave a powerful, Poisonous cloud

A fart can be short, Or a fart can be long, Some farts have been known To sound like a song….

A fart can create A most curious medley, A fart can be harmless, Or silent , and deadly.

A fart might not smell, While others are vile, A fart may pass quickly, Or linger a while……

A fart can occur In a number of places, And leave everyone there, With strange looks on their faces.. From wide-open prairie, To small elevators, A fart will find all of Us sooner or later.

But farts are all bad, Is simply not true-We must never forget…. Sweet old farts like you!

~ Videos of The Decorah Eagles from May 3rd ~

There are three (3) videos from May 3rd in this post. Today's screen capture features the Decorah Eagle family in “What, it’s snowing in May?”

Many thanks to Jim for making the videos and the screen captures possible!

http://youtu.be/9u_HeyBlDaw
5-3 (Yup, snow on May 3, and the fishing is good) 8:00am CT – The nest branches in the cottonwood glisten with the snow as it falls.(Wait; is this really snow on May 3rd in Decorah?) Mom is nest sitting as Dad lands with a fish and begins to do a feeding. Mom shakes off the snow and flies off. Dad continues the feeding. The scene changes and Dad is moving nest rugs tidying up the nest, and then Dad flies off. At 3:49 into the video we catch Mom circling on the left side prior to her landing on the nest. The scene changes and Dad arrives with another fish in talons. Mom goes into raised feather stance and takes control of the moving fish. Dad flies off and Mom feeds the hungry eaglets. The scene changes, Mom is nest sitting and Dad arrives with another wiggly fish which is quickly taloned in place and Dad passes out some bites. Mom stands up, Dad takes off. Repeat! Mom is nest sitting and Dad arrives with more fish. The fishing is good in snowy weather. Dad begins feeding the eaglets that are in front of “Mom the snow shield”. Dad flies off. Repeat again! Another wiggly fish flies in with Dad, and Dad eats it mostly by himself, but shares a few bites and Mom flies off.

http://youtu.be/MjYTmA5KJPU
5-3 (Snow and rain) 11:00am CT – Mom is nest sitting and stands up to shake off the snow that is still falling. Mom hover flaps and then flies off. At 46 seconds into the video we see Mom do a circle fly-by in front of the nest before she arrives back in the nest. The scene changes, the snow is falling and the eaglets are sitting and watching. The snow turns into rain and we see Mombrella back on the nest in tenting position. Dad flies in and begins tidying up the nest. Mom stands up, shakes the rain off and we see the eaglets do the same. Mom once again gets up from tent duty and flaps her wings to get the rain off. At 3:03 into the video notice how tall all three eaglets are sitting. D17 is catching up more in growth. After some rain wingercizing Mom returns to Mombrella tenting. Dad arrives with “something” for a meal and begins passing out a few bites. Mom takes a break and begins to help Dad with the feeding for the hungry eaglets. Teamwork once again! Mom flaps her wings and flies off. Dad continues the feeding and it’s wingercize time then Dad attempts pop-tenting. The scene changes and we see Dad fly off and Mom fly in.

http://youtu.be/rtBzeQsZCbw
5-3 (End of the day) 6:00pm CT – It’s the end of a snowy rainy day and Mom is on the nest feeding. It’s noticeable that the bites are really getting big now. The scene changes, the eaglets are home alone and it appears that the rain has let up. At 3:46 into the video it’s D16 on the left, D15 in the middle and D17 on the right. The eaglets remain nest perched looking around. The scene changes a couple times first showing Mom flying in, and then Dad flying in. Mom works on some nestorations, Dad moves over and nest digs, and then Dad flies off.

I love watching this Eagle family.

Hey betty, I guess they are. It has been a strange Spring. Crazy weather is killing my sinuses. I was just about to close out the pc for the night and hope tomorrow I show up in Kentucky again. lol I guess the wifi providers think I should hail out of Oak Ridge Tn. haha

Hilarious mower story. I am off to bed since I have to get up early and go to work. I need to find me a retired sweetie so I can retire again. It just got to boring for me since I am not retirement age I had to do something. Of course who can't use extra money. lol

Hope you have a great night and hope to chat with you all tomorrow.

Goodnight!
