Boston Bomber Could Have Been Deported After 2009 Conviction
Judicial Watch ^| 4/19/19

One of the Chechen terrorists who carried out the Boston Marathon bombings could have been deported years ago after a criminal conviction and the other was granted American citizenship on the 11th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the 26-year-old killed in a wild shootout with police, was a legal U.S. resident who nevertheless could have been removed from the country after a 2009 domestic violence conviction, according to a Judicial Watch source. That means the Obama administration missed an opportunity to deport Tsarnaev but evidently didn’t feel he represented a big enough threat.

Adding insult to injury, the other bomber, little brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was rewarded with American Citizenship on September 11, 2012 in Boston, according to JW’s source. The 19-year-old, who is still on the run, was granted asylum in Arlington Virginia on September 27, 2002, JW’s source reveals.

Years before these Chechen terrorists carried out the Boston Marathon bombings Judicial Watch uncovered critical intelligence documents detailing al Qaeda’s activities in Chechnya, including the creation of a 1995 camp—ordered by Osama bin Laden—to train “international terrorists” to carry out plots against Americans and westerners.

Did the authorities go through the proper channels to start proceedings to kick this man out of the country? If they didn't then President Obama would not have heard of this guy. On the other side, conservatives have been attacking the "Violence Against Women's Act." The terrorist was arrested on domestic violence charges. So why bring up a domestic violence issue?.....oops...perhaps it is because you think that you can use this issue against President Obama? weak, weak, weak, weak, weak

The first bomber that was killed was questioned by the FBI in 2011 after a warning from an unannounced foreign govt. that he was an anti-American extremist but he must have checked out and was let go. He then flew to Moscow where he stayed for 6 months (possibly training with al-queda) and then returned to America. At leat one of the bombers was on welfare and govt. housing assistance. Its like we paid them to come here to plot and carry out what they did.

I was sitting back and waiting for these idiots to pounce on that one. lol Next they'll want to blame Obama for an immigrant throwing a popsicle stick on the ground. They'll say "Obama could have deported him back in 1892 for eating a popsicle". lol Do some of these morons realize their ignorance or does it just go unrealized? ha

Strange how bin Laden appeared during Bush's reign, yet Obama & Co. took him down. Strange how these appeared right after GW went out of office, yet Obama & Co. took them down. In my opinion, I'd think Obama might be getting tired of cleaning up GW's messes....all this along with the worst economy since the Great Depressions, financial crash, housing crash, 2 unecessary, never ending wars, expensive unecessary Medicare Plan, working visa program and our tax dollars handed out to the wealthy while they outsourced and created no jobs. Yep, if I were Obama, I'd be plum wore out!

We've been educating them for decades, or, did you just crawl out from under the right wing's rock?

That sweet man in Florida, under GWB reign, took cold hard cash to teach one of them to fly one way and didn't have a clue...except seeing all that green. Did Obama cause that also? lol

It was a bomb he threw down DA, not a popsicle stick. We were told back in 2011 that he has terrorist ties and nothing was done.

Now show us some more of your ignorance.

How about one returning to Russia for the 6 months? Interviewed by FBI and like Obama's illegal relatives, allowed to stay. Both were attending Occupy Wall Street rallies.

Wake up dumarse. The horse left the barn already. Let the Obama administration explain how a Russian applying for "asylum" allowed to return for 6 months to the country he sought asylum from? A watchlist country at that.

Then you add "domestic violence?"

Obama's watch, obammys result. 3 dead in Boston. What were you going to say about stricter immigration policy?

They need to put civic classes back in school, so idiot can learn how the government operates.
The first poster and judicialwatch is so stupid they believe the cases of all immigrants, legal or illegal, goes directly to the president's desk??????????

Both were here under "asylum."

"Asylee Travel

If you have won asylum and are thinking about traveling outside the United States, you should consult with an attorney before doing so. Even though you now have asylee status here, every time that anyone other than a U.S. citizen travels abroad, the U.S. government can review your entire immigration record and determine whether or not to let you back into the United States. As an asylee who is thinking about traveling abroad, some important issues to be aware of are:
◾Do not return to the country from which you won asylum. Doing so will probably lead the U.S. to conclude that you no longer fear returning to your country and is likely to lead to your asylum status being revoked. Even after you receive legal permanent residence in the United States, it is best not to travel back to your country. In December 2006, Immigration issued a Fact Sheet on Asylee and Legal Permanent Resident Travel which confirms the danger of returning to your home country, even after obtaining legal permanent residence.
◾Do not travel with the passport issued by the country from which you won asylum. Doing so can lead the U.S. to conclude that you have availed yourself of the protections of your country and can lead to your asylum status being revoked. If you must travel, you have to apply for a Refugee Travel Document.
◾Do not travel with a Refugee Travel Document that will expire while you are outside the United States. The U.S. government is not required to renew your Travel Document while you are abroad and you may not be able to get back into the U.S"

As a terror supporter you never want to sent them home for beating a wife. You must feel beating a wife is not a crime.

Domestic violence (even between a boyfriend and girlfriend) is a problem in America. But looking at it from a legal standpoint it narrows down to guilt or innocence ruled by a local court. There was an arrest in 2009 due to a fight between him and his girlfriend. But no record of any conviction. All I could find was an arrest record, but I couldn't locate any record of conviction. No media network, including the site you gave, can find one. Which most likely means it was dismissed or he was found not guilty.
