As I previously stated, we do not know exactly what happened in this situation. Who are you or I or the Sentinel to say that the guy wasn't in fear for his life?
Having a license to carry is a license to carry a CONCEALED weapon. Obviously it isn't lawful to pull your gun out in public to threaten people or to show off. But we don't know what happened here...my point (which obviously people agree with) is that the guy had a legal right to carry his gun and we don't know that he was unlawful in his actions. We cannot assume.
Actually "Open Carry" is perfectly legal in Massachusetts if you have an LTC. You don't have to conceal it. Probably not a good idea though since most people in this state lose bladder control at the sight of gun metal. The police officer that taught the handgun safety coarse when I took it said they get "man with a gun" calls everywhere you go even though you're doing nothing wrong.

But you're right you don't have the right to pull it and wave it around at people. And we don't know all the details of this case and he may have had a legitimate reason to pull it. I just seriously doubt it since they ran after the incident ended and didn't report it.

Your right, we don't know all the details. It sure does sound like one bully hanging out with another bully,...who shouldn't own a gun.

This crap happens too often these days. A few months back my friends husband was driving down rte 2 east and the guy behind him thought he was driving too slow apparently. The angry driver kept riding up on his butt and throwing his hands in the air. When the idiot had enough room to blow by him in the other lane he threw a cup of DD coffee in my friends husbands window. Luckily their child wasn't in the truck at the time or any other passenger for that matter. He got the license plate of this fool and he was pulled over and summonsed to court for battery. He ended up having to pay $350 to the owner of the truck for his little bout of stupidity. People just have no patience these days, imagine being stupid enough to do something like throw hot coffee in someones window because you think they are driving too slow. Time for some ativan my friend!

I had an incident coming up route 2 west just before Mt Elam Rd where there are two lanes and a third for trucks going slow, some idiot came speeding up in the extra lane and nearly forced me into the fast lane trying to merge at the last minute. When he couldn't get in front of me he harassed me and followed me off my exit right on my tail yelling out the window, my son was bawling he was so scared. Finally after I kept taking all sorts of turns trying to lose him he pulled into a driveway and turned around. I really don't get why people are so high strung these days. What they don't realize is there could be young kids in these cars and they could be hurt in the process.
