Yes they have been in the process of closing terminals screwing Drivers and loosing customers, for the past 3 years about, really is a shame, when I worked there about 4 years ago it really was a good job with good benefits and good pay, I'm glad I left when I did, because to hear the stories I hear now from drivers it is basically a nightmare factory, awful pay and the benefits are not even worth paying for, all the terminals are closed except Auburn Maine and Kearny NJ but Kearny is done on the 16th of this month, I don't know what that means for Maine considering Kearny was the main terminal.
Says allot about the industry today though, in 4 years time one of the largest flatbed carriers in the country could loose most If not all it's customer base close 4 terminals and close the doors all inside 4 years! Scary for sure, was a great place to work for the 2 years I was there good people . Too bad allot of the office and shop employees were lifers I hope they do ok.

Maine terminal is done tomorrow...we're bringing the last tractors to the auction site in the morning.....
Was a good company when I came to work....after Frank Kennedy died it started going downhill.
Fred Kennedy never cared about the company. When he hired MIke Krohn it turned into a cluster****.
BTW, Krohn has gone to work for P&S out of Birmingham, AL.....opening a terminal in Elizabeth. Stay away from them IMHO....he's a moron and the kiss of death for a trucking company.

It is at Ritchie Bros. in Stafford Springs, CT
I would not take one of their tractors as a gift, almost every one of them has issues with the auto trans.
The trailers are all pretty good. But they all have super singles with the exception of the stretch trailers.
The auction is October 6th.

John Roulette is the financial guy in Kearny he is the one you need to talk to. He's probably in hiding under his desk. Good Luck.

bad management # 1 factor then greed second, brokerd loads out of carrolton ky at a 1.75 per mile to outher trucking firms instead of hauling there customers loads with there own trucks and drivers, the customer at carrollton asked kennedy to stop brokering loads out and haul them but kennedy refused
then turned around and laid off 60 drivers and kept rite on brokering, they were
starved out of carrolton, over paid management and not taking care of the customer was demise, abuse of damm good drivers did not help either, the smart mouth moron at carrollton tom bailey who did all the abuse to good drivers
deserved to loose his job

dad, you were the best guy in the world. it is just sad that you put your trust in those people who are nothing but greedy thieves. you were always good to people and their families.what they all have done is inexcusable and unforgivable.yes, money is the root of all evil. all we can wish for now is that they all get their day. the loss of the company is heartbreaking to those who knew how much it meant to you and uncle lou,but remember ,you guys built a great business, but they are the ones who destroyed it! so continue to be proud.

Never knew Lou, but when Frank Kennedy Passed away the company started the death dance.
It used to be a great company that cared about their people.
Mike Krohn, John Roulette and Fred Kennedy sank the company.
If any former LJK drivers are reading this just know that Big Dave grabbed that weasel Krohn by the throat on his last day. Too bad he let him go while he was still able to breathe.
I hope P&S realizes what a piece of shit Krohn is before he closes another company.
