feds better take a real good look at all safety and operational practices there. The surprise is that this is the first death in a while. As a miner my heart goes out to the family for the loss of a loved one but maybe now MSHA will take a real good look at the total operational package of Assarco and put a fork in them for good.

what is the rumor of the Live Oak pit closing? i heard the shovel os parked and a few of the haul trucks might be for sale?
