Steve Thompson, has to be one of the worst managers I have ever seen. He treats his employees like they are children. In the time, that he has been at the Terrell store, there have been over 40 people leave. But, corporate could care less about those associates. There have been numerous calls to the aware line and they have done nothing. All I can say, is that the Terrell home depot management is pathetic..
I dont know-but maybe

I don't know because I don't live in the area, but maybe he treats them like kids because they act like kids? Most companies do check into complaints, but maybe they didn't find anything wrong.... Again I'm not from the area and never have stepped a foot in the home depot. I'm just giving a possible reason, but maybe you are right.

Well, he just fired and ASM that had almost thirty years. And its a little crazy. Home Depot used to be a great palace to work, but now its all about numbers. I suppose its that way in any corporation nowadays. So, you can complain all day about a person ( Steve) but ad long as the numbers are good, they'll keep him. I just think you should look at how the numbers are being made also. Just saying..But, I still think Steve is a piece of shit...Ha...

I work at Home Depot 6816 we have a department head, Lloyd Wardrip, that keeps up so much trouble in our store not to mention how unfair he is. What's more is NOTHING is being done about it!! Today he took an associates heavy equipment license because he said Henry didn't banner off the aisle 16 feet from where he was bringing down a pallet! Then later on he came to that SAME AISLE to pull down a pallet and BANNERED OFF THE SAME EXACT DISTANCE!! What's WORSE is HE DIDN'T BANNER OFF THE NEXT AISLE AT ALL CAUSE HE WAS IN A HURRY TO GET A TRANSFER PULLED BEFORE THE TRUCK LEFT! A CUSTOMER OR SMALL CHILD could have come on that aisle and been HURT OR KILLED cause HE was in a hurry!!! WHAT HE DID WAS WORSE! At least HENRY BANNERED off BOTH AISLES AND as it turned out Henry was the correct distance of 16 feet, HE CHECKED IT WITH A TAPE MEASURE!! OMG!! LLOYD IS OUR ENFOCUS CAPTAIN WHO IS MOST CERTAINLY, ON A POWER TRIP!!! ALL RULES OF SAFTY APPLY TO EVERYONE BUT HIM!!!

Sharon sorry you feel that way. Our store went from worst safety record in region to best due to his vigilance. Sometimes it takes ticking people off and being the bad guy to correct behavior in others. Perhaps you should make yourself aware of policy and procedures before you criticize and judge others behavior.

Bobby82, you're a POS! Your post makes you sound uneducated and, quite frankly, a moron. Hopefully, someone fired you!
