Great Hair Salon?

I just moved to Katy from Washington, D.C. and I am having trouble finding a nice and trendy salon via google (I don't know anyone here to refer me anywhere). I am not into the spas that charge $55 for a haircut by someone the age of my mom, but instead something with an average price that has a "younger" feel to it. It can be in Katy or West Houston, but nothing too far, please. Any suggestions?

I just recently went to the Spa at Cinco Ranch and they have a new girl name Sarah who cut my hair the best I have had it cut in a LONG time.. Already have an appointment for color scheduled with her.. She's good I'd give her a try... Just stay away from DEVERO salon.... bad, bad bad.

Paul Mitchell Salons are great. They are trendy but listen to what you want. There is also a girl that graduated from the Paul Mitchell school that flexes to you schedule, she will travel to you with her kit, or you can go to her house in Katy because the salon she works at is a bit far but Fantastic.
