He was the greatest man I had ever known. His generosity, character, and unmatched passion for art, is what i will remember most. I will miss him and forever praise his name. He was one of kind.

A truly self-made man is the master of thought, the molder of character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment, and destiny. As a being of Power, Intelligence, and Love and the lord of his own thoughts, a truly self-made man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills. Chairman Silas H. Rhodes was such a Man and I was blessed to have first made his acquaintance in 1989 and to have served on the Board of Directors of His School of Visual Arts since 2000.
