The U.S. Coast Guard has decided to demolish the Kauhola Lighthouse on the Big Island's Kohala Coast because of eroding ground.

The people who own the land, do not want the people at the lighthouse, so they are putting up a light pole!! They think no one will want to see only a pole, they can't control us!! What are we doing with our History!! Why can't a company or individual get the material to shore up the area and keep all of ours history. I can't believe they can't shore up the lighthouse, they can keep other Historical sites. This should be considered a Historical Site Designation.

They are being bought off in order to build high-end homes there, they don't want people to party and have a good time anymore. They even put boulders in the road to block people out!! We need to stand up!!
