If that statistic is correct, then why is the auto insurance rate being reflected by such a high percentage of safety use? The insurance rate should be lowered one would think so????

I can't believe those statistics...When 15-20 % of vehicles have illegal window tint, it's impossible to tell if they are buckled up!

Now that "click it or ticket" was such a resounding success...NOT.
Maybe the police can return to real patrol work and PREVENTION of crime...such as the 19 year old guy who stabbed a man, woman, and toddler today at 2222 Kapi'olani BLVD leaving the woman in critical condition.

Typical irony: When the seatbelt law was
passed, I hated it and never wore one.
I got stopped and issued a ticket. 2 weeks later
got side-swipped by a guy running a red light.
My car flipped 3 x. It saved this little life.
Added anecdotal bonus: A dozen locals on
the sidewalk gawked, while 2 "white boys" in
military uniforms came to the rescue without
a moment's hesitation. That screwed any possible
career I was headed for being racist or anti-military.
