And just how do you do that? What if Obamar turns out to be a socialist/fascist nightmare? What do you do then to hold him 'accountable and responsible' when you are already a slave? Hmmmm?
And I thought you liberals didn't like bucks (the root of all evil) so why do you care where it stops?
Spoken like a charter member of the Madame Cleo fortune telling society.

Superferry was not singled out for an EA.

Lingle lied over & over & said it was singled out.

When the facts came out that Superferry was not singled out, her thransportation director admitted that it was not singled out.

Lingle has never admitted her lie or "error" as some would prefer top call it. But once the facts came out she quit her lies.

As long as the Superferry wants to continue operating at 43mph in a whale population, I won't ever support it.

It got sweetheart deals to start up. It got stopped in court. It got another sweetheart deal to start up again.

We don't need to support companies like that in Hawaii.

SNOPEs confirms most of the reports about Palin that appear to make her a very poor choice for VP, and unfit to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

She's ill-prepared, unqualified, arrogant, and very much like Bush, though probably with a higher IQ than his 93 -- even though there are a lot of questions about her education. For example she says she went to UH-Hilo, but the school has no record of anyone with her name.

Today's report from Alaska quotes her comment on Barack beating Hillary with words that those of us who are anti racist and reluctant to call a woman by a very bad name would not repeat.

Let's just say it is worse than the messages on her very gross t-shirts.

McCain should have had her background checked out before he fell for her looks and lies.

It is comical to listen to GOP supporters try to defend their choice. Where have these people been the last 8 years. The GOP & Bush have been a disaster for the country. Unemployment at alltime high. Foreclosure/Banking crisis.$3 Trillion War debt. The Lies & War Crimes. War Profiteering by Cronies. Crimes against the Constitution. Is the GOP a political party or a Fascist Criminal organization?

I agree with the the fact that the GOP is comical, but if you think about it, they are reckless. I can't recall a GOP convention that tried to distance itself from the current administration as much as this RNC did. And they are supposed to be on the same team. What does that tell you? Is there some form of corruption there? Why would they say at the RNC they are going to reform DC? What are they not telling us? I'm not faulting McCain, I respect him. I want some accountability for the butcherers' who currently reside and turn a blind eye.

Read nation magazine today then hon. Palin is trying to stop the investigattion into her fraud. McPain made an outrageously bad choice. he is truly senile and dangerously reckless with America's declining future.
K the hon thing is condescending, so let's cut it out. You said it was a Time's article and when I called you out, you're now redirecting it to another place.

So I checked it out. Really checked it out. First the about us and the prospectus from 1865 (I believe) sounded legit, but then when one searches further.....still biased. I looked up topics about Obama and the RNC. Stark contrast in what articles are listed there for reading. I absolutely will not read junk that is unbiased. You want people to listen to your (un)original talking points, put some articles out there that are not slanted to favor any one candidate so we can get the real story.

It is also a weekly journal of OPINION.(says so when you look it up) Not facts.

Observer, the DNC did it when Gore tried to distance himself from Clinton back in 2000. NOthing new on that. Everybody knows his favorable rating is low, higher thant the current Dem led Congress, but nonetheless, low. McCain has bucked his party, hence why many of us sucked it up to vote for him and others still will not. To say that we (meaning Conservatives) fall lock step with Bush is old and tired and frankly, wrong. He didn't deliver on his promises for his second term and therefore left most of us hanging. Everyone has their opinion on who they will vote for and why, but to continuously spread falsehoods is wrong. People just start listing off things the media has "reported" as "news" and therefore it is word form God himself. Wrong again. You would think the world is coming to an end what with all the media would have us to believe. I say, seek the truth and stop the talking points. I absolutely do not agree with everything McCain has done in his political career, but I am voting who is the lesser of two unwanted choices we're stuck with (meaning I do not like wither one). Just like you will vote your way and that is truly the American way.

In response to Bertram Wong's ltr concerning Americans wastefulness. Sorry Bertram, you're putting the blame on the wrong people. Manufacturers have placed the American people into the "throw-away" society we have become. Perhaps you're too young to remember when a washing machine would last 15-20 years before requiring replacement. Not so today. You're lucky if you can get 5-8 years out of one, and when it does break, it will be cheaper to replace it then repair it. The same goes for most electronics. Try to get a computer printer repaired in Honolulu. If you can find one the answer will be, "it will cost more to repair it then replace it."

You gotta stop getting your koolaide from the Daily KKK0s. Only 2 items on Sarah Palin on Snopes: 1: Bikini photo=false 2: letter from town resident supporting her=true.
The OB campaign isn't spreading rumors about her. They don't have to because there are a lot of media that are in the tank to do the smearing.
Can't wait until the debates to see Biden try to hold his own against a girl. Here he is practicing:
