In my opinion, the "jesting"on the Fox4 morning show often crossed the line with the way the anchors treated Don Harman. I feel tremendous guilt for not registering my complaint with the network about what I consistantly perceived as a bullying situation. Don's death is heartbreaking, and I can only hope and pray that he was not inwardly hurting by what transpired on that "show."

Bullying? Anyone with eyes can see that the entire team loved and respected one another. If they teased one another it was always on an equal basis and always goodhearted fun. Personally, I loved and still love the chemistry that the morning show crew had/has. Did you watch Fox4 this morning? Did you see the pain? I was deeply moved. I must admit that I've never seen a news crew cry and I will freely admit that I cried along with them.

Todays forecast is hot, as in hell, with a 100% that my crybaby ass will kill myself. No regards for my wife, my coworkers, my family, or anyone else. Just one last selfish act and now fools can feel sorry for me. That is what I want, your pity. So feel sorry for me.

WHAT A PUNK, I DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR HIM ONE BIT.

I almost forgot about my daughter. Don't feel sorry for her or my wife or my family, feel sorry for me. It's a tragedy that I punked out on the game of life and took the cowards way out. It was all about me!

I really do appreciate the sincere reply. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with any of the points you made. Yes, I did watch the morning show and one couldn't miss the giant box of kleenex that was the centerpiece of the anchor desk and the frequent reaching for a tissue.

Obvious troll is obvious....articulate but obvious. Hey, here's a novel idea for the betterment of mankind: Can we (gladly) trade you for him?

Definitely not alone in this perception. There are many people making similar comments. Mark Alford alludes to it himself this morning when he said something to the effect of knowing how to push Don's buttons and loren laughed and agreed saying that Mark was a "pro." They go on and on about trying to help him. How could pushing a depressed person's buttons by cutdowns about their personal hygiene possibly be meant to help?

Hopefully this will make people think twice before pushing other's buttons, especially depressed people's buttons. Mark Alford said he put a poll on FB asking if he should be nicer to Don Harman or should he be Mark. I think he got the answer to his question, and hopefully isn't going to be his typical self on air anymore.

i don,t think mark or any one else had any thing to do with don,s death, depression is a mental problem,I think mark and every one on 4 helped to a degree.they kept his mind clear, i wish all people had friends like them, just some things cannot be stopped, and none of us know what problems may have been their.

No one knows the full extent of the challenges Don was facing in his private life, but what he endured day in and day out on that show was VERY public. I think the constant "joking" at anothers expense in such a public forum would be extremely difficult for even the strongest person to cope with. I certainly don't see how this helped him to clear his mind. Is anyone upset by what transpired on the morning show the day he took his life? I do not consider "joking" about everybody knowing he doesn't care about his personal hygiene something a friend would do, especially one that is struggling with depression.

I had not watched the morning show for over a year when I tuned in one day last spring. I was shocked to see how both of the News Anchors seemed to be working together hurling insults at Don Harman. Don appeared to really be struggling with comebacks that day and seemed to be shut down every time he tried. It is impossible for me to believe that anyone would be ok with being treated like what I saw that morning.

I'm thanking don for what he did. It has given me something to laugh about. Don put a plastic bag over his head and ran a hose from a helium tank. that is how he died. The police have no right to with hold this. Everyone should just chill out and laugh about it

Oh internet tough guy aren't you. You are the reason why I killed myself.

Glad to see no one feel bad for my family. Even though I took the cowards way out it's all about me. Left a wife, daughter, and others behind to suffer because I was a coward. Poor little me, got picked on, oh boo-hoo!!!

I saw the same thing with the two of them. Mark was always the instigator. She followed his lead. I stopped watching a long time ago because of Mark Alford. I found him, cruel, rude and pompous. L. Halifax always seem to be intimidated by him as well. So I tuned her out as well. Then ceased watching. However, the week before he died, I had not gotten to the remote yet. I saw Alford say something to Don that was not taken lightly by Don. He responded with something like, "9 minutes". He looked down then up at Alford, glared at him and seemed upset. He just stared at Alford. Don was shaken and upset. He was not smiling. Alford and Halifax, two of of kind. And it isn't positive.
