George “Tiny” Mercer was executed on January 6, 1989 in Missouri by lethal injection. He had been convicted of raping and murdering a waitress. After he and two other men had assaulted the girl repeatedly, Mercer strangled her and beat her on the head while screaming,“Die, you bitch, die!”“I’ve always been just like anybody else,” Tiny Mercer once told a reporter.“I’ve paid my taxes, just like any other citizen of the United States would do. I lived a normal life, just like everybody else did.” Many adjectives were used to describe Mercer during his trial, but “normal” sure as hell wasn’t one of them. Tiny was a long-time biker and the leader of two motorcycle gangs, The Rancid Riders and The Missing Links.(“My mother was a biker,” Mercer claimed.“It’s in my blood.”) The words “love” and “hate” were tattooed across the knuckles of his hands, while the Harley-Davidson logo and the words “Rancid Riders” were emblazoned across his back. He is also reported to have once yanked out some of his own front teeth with a pair of pliers during a motorcycle gang ritual. But years of prison life obviously served to mellow out the once “rancid” killer. He became a born-again Christian and divided his reading time equally between motorcycle magazines and the Bible. The kinder, gentler Mercer even offered the prison warden a burrito left over from his last meal just prior to his execution, proving that even the worst criminals are capable of performing a “tiny” gesture of good will.
Last Meal: Barbecued beefsteak, barbecued ribs, tacos, burritos, French fries, a tossed salad with oil and vinegar dressing, and a large Coca-Cola.
no tiny was not a member, what he was-was a gofer and drug dealer, never a patched in link

I was a very young child born in 78 but I do remember some of these guys they where my role models they where cool, wild and very loving in my eyes I never had to worry about anything as a child in West Belton I knew how to fight and shoot by the age of 8 and I blame my obsession of motorcycles and guns on them I remember being bungee corded to a tank and going for a ride and parties with dozens of people just passing out anywhere they wished. I don't have a clue of who is who but that doesn't matter they where a great inspiration in my life taught me to be proud of who I am and not to take shit from nobody.

Anyone see a motorcycle club riding up in the northland with red lettering. The patch had two faces. I think it might have been mask(like theatre mask). Anyways, they had a 3 peice patch and theg were riding jap bikes. I am just curious who they could have been.

That group calls themselves the Thespians.

They ride around and put on random three-act plays that turn into homosexual orgies.

Thoughest club in KC.

Memories.
I remember a few that I ran with when I lived in KC.
Shadow, Moose, Willy Bill, Herc, Mafia, Flack.
Still talk to Shadow and Buddy every once in awhile. Buddy came and stayed at my house for a month a couple of winters ago.
Visitied with them both last time I was in KC.
The funeral where Belton pretty much shut down was in like maybe 1980? Mickey or Mouse was it that died from a drunk driver pulling out from a beer joint in front of him.
I remember when the HA's came into town and stayed at the club house. I stayed away as I wasn't a member, a prospect, or a hang around. Good advise from the bro's to me. I was unique in that I was a friend with some priviledges.
I remember a Skip who is now gone on to his maker but he was hang around.
MLMC didn't bother anyone that didn't ask for it.
Intimidated a lot of people.....oh yeah.
Always treated me good. Lived at the home of Shadow and Buddy for a couple of years. Lots of fun was had for sure.

bull and I know about the most of the original club for as far as I can tell. Bull knows the grain valley/oak grove chapter, I know the Belton members and have several pictures of the club partying and what not. Plus pictures from little johns funeral and the program, or whatever you call the thing that has the friends, family preacher and all that. It was 1974 that happened in Belton. I got the pictures from a girl-friend who's father was a original member. I have only shared them with Bull, because he's on the level. Good luck find much out, they all left MLMC fairly quietly, with all the BS over freaking Tiny. They had family's and kid/grand kids and the heat just hassled them for farting.

MLMC were a bunch of petty-criminal deviants who didn't have enough brains to finish high school (yes, even that grand give-a-way that is high school!) and were such dirty losers that no one wanted to hang out with them. Over time, they didn't even want to hang out with each other. Missing Links wasn't a cool name, it was literally what these knuckle-dragging degenerates looked like. These jerk-offs couldn't hold their booze and couldn't pull a chick with a full set of teeth if their ruefully meaningless little lives depended on it.

I agree they were a bunch of loosers It took about 5 of them including tiny to put me on the floor one night in 1971 before I jumped back up to find a gun in my face. some girls had told us they knew where a great party was going on off of 87th st. later in 73 ran into one of them that was not so tough without his buddys. They should have given the needele to more than Mercer.

So what you both are saying is that they are the real thing. That's why it's called outlaw MC. No they were not pretty Kansas boys, SOA want to be, posers with 2000 bucks worth of tattoos on their arms. They were Cass, Jackson, County bushwhackers. Stay in Kansas Jayhawker, were you are safe.

To bad Karen wasn't offered a "last meal" or allowed to visit her family before Tiny killed her.

I was 19 and I was running hard with the crew, some hellacious parties and riding was great I was never messed with as a young girl I don't to this day know how I came out unscathed. I had an old Ironhead chopper they helped me keep it running, surprised they did not steal it from me but they gaurded me, Herc was like my big brother, I was just a homeless hot little blonde skinny chick that lived to ride. I left Belton and went to Tucson and to Cali. Missed those guys they were there when no one else was for me. Shadow, T-Bob, Animal, Herc, Stinky. We had a lot of good times. Just wanted to add that.
