You always dont want to believe its your son, but it is your son man...No need to try to back him out of it. He was man enough to kill her, he will be man enough to do the time!!!

It is important to let the justice system work here. The young man is only charged; he has not been judged. The suspect needs to have his day in court. I did not see the crime. So, until the case is presented in court, I will not pass judgment on this man.

No, that father is not an idiot. His son says he didn't do this and he believes him. Perhaps the other 2 cousins are trying to frame him. The truth will come out in the end.

Our children are suppost to reflect the responsible,Loving & Caring image that we taught them.I have always said that your child will rip your heart out and stomp on it one way or another through life. We can't blame ourselves we can only pray that they will someday acknowledge there wrong doing and repent.I pray that God will wrap his arms around all of those that are heart broken and comfort them through this time of sorrow. May you rest in peace Aylea.

I agree if you know Scott then you know he is not capable of murder. I don't know the other 2 guys, are they capable of setting Scott up? Scott still stands by his story. He is not guilty of this crime.

Are you all nuts or are you just dumb, deaf, and blind! This is a perfect example of how parents are failing their kids so much these days. Even if he didn't murder her, he was still envolved (which is still a HUGE crime) otherwise they wouldn't be in JAIL ON A 2 MILLION DOLLAR BOND! This makes me not want to raise children in today's world, because of horrible parenting skills that lead to crimes such as this one! I mean, how do you NOT know your kid does drugs? If I came home with even a hint of acohol on my breath that would be the skin off my back! Maybe if you gave them a curfew it would give them LESS time to find trouble! I'm very thankful for my parents strict upbrining. Otherwise I might end up like these 3 criminals!

Brianna Nichole; what would you do if you even just witnssed a murder and didn't do ANYTHING to stop it? Does that put you in the right? In the minds of ALL that would still make you a criminal! Pull your head out of your *$$!

Perhaps we don't have all the facts yet. Wow, what happened to innocent until proven guilty. This is quite amazing, you people are ready to kill more and pass judgement without seeing facts, or evidence. They will not even let us know how she was killed.

Maybe he was told that they would kill him if he said or did anything.Besides how could one stop two without getting killed themselves.Just let CSI do their job and don't worry about it.And do not judge anyone! Who are we to judge any way?

There isn't a single family involved in this case that will come out of it whole. Keighley's parents will blame themselves, wonder where they went wrong and mourn. The three boys'(and they really ARE just boys) families will wonder what they missed, what they should have done differently and they also will mourn. This tragedy will destroy so many lives. So many will wonder how it happened, how it could have happened. I feel so bad for them all.
The sad truth is that nobody can say what another person is capable of doing or not doing. Individuals under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol can do the unimaginable, and behave in ways so atypical of their normal personality.
If these boys were together the night of the murder, there is no telling what kind of group mentality they had. To say you KNOW someone is innocent because he said he didnt do it or because you know him and he would never hurt someone is just plain naive.
The Johnson County DA isnt going to charge first degree murder without some pretty compelling evidence. Edwin Hall was still professing his innocence right up until the day he finally took responsibility for murdering Kelsey Smith. Prisons are full of "innocent" inmates who have been framed.
The evidence will speak for itself, and the charged will be judged. Until all the evidence comes out, only a fool would insist they could see into the heart of an accused and "know" the truth.

If convicted of this stupid crime these 3 guys have just thrown their life away. Children need a strong hand to help them make good decisions until they are old enough to make them on their own. Today children for the most part are free to roam and don't have any responsiblities. Parents want to be the kids best friend instead of being a parent. It seems all the people involved in this crime made very bad moves. Fact: Most kids under 18 are not in love they are in heat, falling for first one then another. I see 15 year old kids whos parents are not rich wearing 150.00 shoes and sporting several hundred dollars worth of tatooes. These kids have no summer jobs and just hang out, spending money with no worries. The parents are out busting their a$$ working two jobs trying to give these kids too much, while the kid needs supervision. If you buy your kid you don't get much for your money.
