If they find this killer he needs to suffer the same fate as his victim. The clerk followed instructions and did not put up a fight. He killed that clerk for no reason.

This is truly SAD!! First of all you had no business robbing 7eleven. And after you got what you wanted why did you have to kill him? He was AT WORK, WORKING HARD, trying to provide for his family. Making and HONEST living. While you thugged out, worthless scums, took his life. I hope they find you and your soul burns in hell eternally.

All these thugs need to get a J.O.B. Is it really worth it a couple hundred dollars and you took a life??? Your mom should have swallowed you!!

Man I go to that 7-Eleven. That was pretty F'd up because killing him over maybe $150 is just wrong. He was a nice dude. My daughter spilled a Big Gulp in the store once and he didn't really trip on it. Times are this hard now?

If you are anywhere close to Blue Ridge it is just like living off of Troost or Prospect. To think I grew up in what is now a ghetto. It won't be long before even the Middle Easterners won't run businesses in the area. By the way, I like the swallow comment, it took me a bit.

I worked in Kansas State prison while in school. Inmates with 1st degree murders are living like kings. 50 tv cable channels in each cell. Cadillac health insurance. dental insurance, gym, paid college, supermarket, showers twice a day, church, Cinema, barber shop, theater acts. all you name it. i was shocked when I work there, Inmates are provided a living better than any middle class person. could someone tell me why? why do we have to spend $40K for each inmate while hanging killers wont cost anything. all because of stupied lawyers, judeges, and f'up law, we should learn more from China.

This is horrible to see him get shot for no reason. It probably wasn't more than $100 in that register, because they don't break big bills at this 711. South Kansas City is not the same as it was years ago. Completely uncalled for!!!

The Kansas City slums has moved well to the south. Just take a look at Bannister Mall. It could no longer exsist with all the crime. Have you had a picnic in Swope park lately?

I used to go to that 711 daily when I grew up in that area. My folks are still a few blocks away. It's sad. Obviously, this was a couple of amateurs, professional robbers know better than to make it a capital offense. Cold blooded murder, that's what this was.

As far as Kansas City, Missouri goes: Swope has been a ghetto thug hang out for years. They ruined the inner core of Kansas City and expanded South as far as Grandview, east as far as Raytown. The Ward Parkway and Kansas State Line corridor has them land locked on the West. Watch out East siders.

I can not believe this man was shot for no reason. Who is to blame for this punks actions? Drugs? Guns? The econony? How about starting with the parents. Is this your son? How proud you must be thinking you did everything right to teach him right from wrong. Knowing who his friends were, where he is at. Laying down ground rules at an early age.I am disgusted with this once nice nieghborhood and am fed up with this type of behavior. Nieghbors and Police need to rid this scum, and the only way is to unite and fight back and make damn sure they rot in jail or get shot first by those of us that are fed up.
why would you kill him

I knew that man he was one of the niceist people you could meet. And to see him go like that makes me think why the F are we still killing our own fellow man. And over what 50 bucks? the man and woman that did this should be killed but not by injection they should both be shot in the stomach and then just be left to die. Rest in peace tony.

For those who didn't know him, he was a great family man to his kids, a great co-worker, and always eager to please and help people. Most of all he was a hard worker, working as many as 3 jobs at one time. Too bad the bullet didn't ricochet and hit the thug gunman instead, because a great person and friend was lost.
