I think it is great that the police officers get to keep their jobs and the vote went the way of the officers facing lay off. Crime is not going to slow down in Kansas City Kansas because we have fewer officers on the streets. There are hundreds of businesses not giving out pay increases and cost of living raises this year because of the economic situation this country is in. I am glad that a sacrifice was made to keep as many officers at work as possible.
