I would just like to thank TCAPS for all the progress they have made this year- as a business minded person I see great potential in some of the decisions TCAPS has taken so much slack for. Closing a few schools (we have too many elementary schools) not only will save in the first initial years, but longterm- less maintenance, fewer employees, lower utility bills, the list goes on. At a time when even the wealthiest of families needs to take a step back and tighten up their "purse strings" I personally would like to applaud TCAPS for standing behind what they believed would work to keep TCAPS an excellent school system and to be able to offer our children the best of the best. I am proud to have my children attend a TCAPS school- I believe our schools to be the very best that Northern Michigan has to offer- and though personally my children's school is going through many changes this and next year- I think the changes will make it a better and stronger school in the future. "Way to go TCAPS!!!"
