The Kalkaska Schools should have been running like a business for the past years instead of relying on the State of Michigan to bail them out.
Several of the schools in the District could have merged together, cutting the costs, of electric, fuel, maintenace, snow plowing, etc. etc.
Reducing the administration to one Principal and no Vice Principals.
The use of more fund raisers in the community and money collection jars in every business in Kalkaska would have brought in
thousands of dollars per month.
My father once told me working for what you want is the ONLY way to go, no one will hand it to you.
The schools could turn out products for money. It can be done.
