Crash victim identified as Kalkaska woman
A woman killed after her car crashed and burned last weekend has been identified as Nicole Holstine, Kalkaska County Sheriff Bill Artress said Tuesday.

that road is horrible. Between the turns, pot-holes and wildlife it is no suprise to me that there are so many wrecks. I stay off Valley as much as I can and really think it could be marked better.

I agree with Barbara. Valley Road is one of the most dangerous roads in the county. Especially since they only resurfaced part of it, and left the rest a pot holey mess. People, for some reason, like to drive fast on that road, and at night, the turns are tough to negotiate. Kalkaska County really needs to finish resurfacing the road, and bring the speed limit down to 45 mph. There have just been way too many fatalities to ignore.

Wasn't there a house that used to be on valley? I'm not sure but I think that's what I'm thinkin of.
