Summerlin, Nevada DOES NOT EXIST!!.Summerlin is an upscale neighborhood of Las Vegas with more than 10% of former islanders. Other areas with a high percentage of former islanders are Green Valley and Henderson. There are Long's Drug Stores with hawaiian 'comfort food and goods',three different hawaiian style eateries within a 10 mile radius of Decatur and Charleston Sts. in Las Vegas. Several Long's Drugs have a weekly shipment of FRESH POI and sweet bread and other 'comfort foods'. Brian, a former islander makes a veriety of poki at the International Market on Decatur and Flamingo and makes sure that the freezers are continuingly stocked with local onolicious kaukau. I lived in Las Vegas for eight years since 1996.
