Before you go off the deep end - remember that a substantial number of former Aloha employees will once again be employed. It's all about quality jobs for Hawaii. Hold your protest!

bill is playing with fire when it comes to leaving a partnership with Go! he forces Jonathon's hands and that isnt good business. Bill may have a good idea on his hands but certainly not a leader of an airline.

Go Mokulele! Put GO out of business!
You best read the full artical on this subject.Go states that Mokulele owes them lots of bucks and if Go wants to play hard ball just call all of their markers in and fold them up before they get started.

Kaka..this is all kaka. This airline will also go by the way side - it is just a matter of time. He states and even through print one can feel the attitude, that there is no place for low fares! Well then there is no place for Mokulele Airlines! Just add them to the gang from Aloha.

Mr Ornstain says "he was surprised and disappointed by Boyer's partnership with Republic and he owes us a significant amount of money"
Mr Ornstain lies now is exposed. Aloha is dead now. Ornstrain now has fresh meat but his teeth are rotten.
Now Ornstain will blame Bill Boyer for all his problems. This is great comedy.
Throw the blame shifter down the well.

400 employees to run 4-70 passenger jets @$61/per ticket one way. Good luck but the math doesn't seem to come out vs. the operating overhead costs.
Another option is always good especially with their partners. Let's see, mid-November.

Good luck to Mokulele Air. If it last one day, one year or half a century, it will be the market that
decides that. Hope the management has the good sense understand the customers and their wants and needs.

Here we "Go!" again! Hawaii can only support 2 inter-island airline carriers. One of these 3 will end up like Aloha Airlines and go belly up. "Go!" figure!

I not hea to throw a monkey wrench into a set of operating gears, but weren't we all for Go! when they first started? when they offered $19 dollah fares?

We gave Go! a chance and they messed up now it's time we let Mr Boyer call his shots and play his cards right.

If he gets a bad hand, he knows that it wasn't the time to create a JV with another carrier, but if it works out and they end up expanding, bringing in more E-170's then we should applaud the man not only for filling in the void that Mr Banmiller did when he ruined 3500 peoples lives, but for creating more jobs, helping out Hawaiian and Island Air take some of the load/pressure off their daily ops and for bringing back competition into the hawaiian skies once again.

Things to keep in mind - Mokulele will not be able to employ any local pilots - those will come from the mainland, and Republic currently has laid off pilots which means they cannot hire locals until they call everyone backi. Also, they will bring mainland flight attendants too, same thing.

Something to keep in mind...

You know how many people JO knifed in the back, everyone who knows whats going on in the industry is laughing at how JO got a taste of his own medicine.

To those complaining about high fares... you're all morons, don't care about your nationalities or who your family is, you're a bunch of morons.

EMB-170s cost a minimum of 3500/bh to operate, thats about 2600 for a flight to Kona from HNL, just on operating the aircraft. That's 34/seat before you start paying people, the government, leases etc. And if one of you Mokes even thinks that airlines shouldn't be allowed to make money, crawl back in the cave you crawled out of.

Republic will bring in pilots, but they ran ads in Hawaii to hire flight attendants. They didn't run the ads on the Mainland, just HAWAII!!! So if you wanted to be a flight attendant read the local CareerBuilders, because it was in there to hire flight attendants locally.

Is that why they offered their FAs a base in HNL and let them bid on it for reassignment?

This will be great as more airlines are added. As long as they don't get over their heads, they will be fine.
