Mokulele gets cash days after the Super Ferry shuts down.

Bet the new investors were part of the Sierra Club.

Agreeing with yourself 15 minutes apart does nothing for your credibility. Keeping multiple ways of traveling inter-island is the key. When there is competition, prices are low. When competition ceases to exist, prices start going up. I can't wait until Mokulele starts service to Hilo. I am expecting them to give that airline with the exclamation mark in the name a run for their money.

Sounds like a polite way to say Boyer was transferred due to incompetence.

The Ferry was a good idea but Lingle handled the entire thing very badly. The news paper said she tried to do a favor to a campaign contributor by going aroudn existing environmental law. She was dead wrong to do this and she got whacked for it.

I love having Mokulele as an option. I'd certainly rather fly Mokulele than that predator airline Paul Skellon works for. I find it funny that he makes a tacky comment about losing money-- if anybody should be familiar with losing money, it would be the airline he works for.

Ahhhh... let the games begin!!! Hawaiian Air who's been gloating from Aloha's demise and hoping Orenstein defaults now have to contend with a formidable opponent. Does anybody think Republic is flying for the sake of servicing inter-island travel? Watch out everybody, with oil hovering around $50 a barrell, competetive fares are back on the table. Trans-Pac flights may be back in the near future. Too bad Hawaiian's service sucks and GO has the baggage of Orenstein to deal with... I guess Yucaipa now has to rethink their strategy with their law suit against Mesa... can't have your cake and eat it too!!!

Local flight attendants means local passengers.
If Mokulele had this it would be a big advantage over go!
