Best move she made! You welfare-liberals just hated to be forced to mind your own brats instead of smoking dope all day. Education-wise, NOTHING was lost. You were just worried you might lose some more bennies. Bring on the drug-tests-for welfare! That REALLY scares the democrats!

Yah and drug test all the state employees, the fed and city and county employees for that matter to! And yes funny how the ones whom post all the garbage are usually unemployed and collecting benefits. Sad to see the people of Hawaii buy into welfare ect. Like I see all this give back our lands...then give back the welfare and social benefits folks have taken for generations here in Hawaii. We used to be people of pride. Now we are a society of takers. So sad. Get a damned eduction and be something!

There are jobs here, but people think they're going to start off a warehouse job as a supervisor with a company car instead of loading pallets. I get one or two people a job each month when asked, or when those that hire ask me if I know someone looking. I know a lot of young people ask me to put a word in for them, and I will until I hear the line, "My girlfriend wants me home morning to help with the baby," or, "I can't work weekends or before ten in the morning, or, "I can't get up too early." Yet I'll see them at the park or wandering the shopping center during the working day. I sent four guys to a good warehouse job this month, and every one of them was rejected. I'm good friends with the HR person for the company so I hear what got them rejected, and it was because they whined like sissies. One was hired to drive truck but lied about having his license. It's suspended! As of today not one of those slots is filled, because people today are lazy pieces of garbage. Their women are on welfare so it's party time seven days a week. One kid was hired by Disney and is already promoted because he's NOT a lazy asshole. I'm only one for five in the last two months, but it's NOT because there's no jobs. The jobs are there if you're really looking.

You want us to pick and local bradda just as long as he is a Republican, but if he is a liberal then you want us to pick a haole wahine that is mahu like you.
aKAKA is a fake local bradda just like Odumbass is a fake native son...Lingle is a haole but not the obnoxious, rude, demanding, condescending haole like the New York haole you voted for who turned out to be the worst governor in the entire country.

Get it now, hauna Haunani?

I wouldn't say the economy is good, it's just that so many out here are happily on welfare and don't want to work.

Short answer? HELL NO! I've never done well when there's a democrat in office. Democrats are good for people that just want to get by without breaking a sweat, and it's done by taking money away from people that work. Democrats will give just enough to keep people voting for them, but too little to do any real good. After a couple of elections their people are content to receive what crumbs are handed down and think that's all there is.
