The teacher's salary is not $70,000 / year. Rather, the $70,000 is the amount of money it takes to maintain a teacher - this includes salary, benefits, insurance, housing, etc.

Sad indeed to see another Christian school close its doors! PRAY for other alternatives please.

Could this be an option along with a volunteer?

Oh well, I guess the kids will have to go some where else to get their brainwashing and cult education.

Send em to an SDA school on the mainland where they can get the crap kicked out of 'em for not praying right.

Those stupid 'atheist' schools only want to teach math and science and other 'real' things. What a failure those schools are.

Actually, in Hawaii, yeah, pretty much. Except for precious few exceptions like Kaiser, McKinley, Mililani, and most public charter schools.

What are you talking about? Some (not all) Hawaiians ARE crazy violent and angry. Hawaiians make up the majority of the prison population here in Hawaii.

No, sorry idiot... You of all people should know that whatever happens is god's will.

God didn't want the school open any longer so he shut it down... It's just that simple.

God doesn;t want Republicans in power here in hawaii so they aren't.

THY WILL BE DONE right???

God's will has nothing to do with it, stupid. It's man's will or in this case stupid liberal man's will. Liberals are stoooid.
