Anyone have any positive feedback on apartments they have stayed in or are staying in?

Do not rent from any Corporate run apartment complex in Cottonwood.

was designed to protect both tenant and landlord, is NOT enforced by the local court. They (Judge Lundy) sides with corrupt lawyers and managers every time. Any individual who tries to complain with the state or local government, gets evicted, and they keep your deposit and bill you exorbitant repair costs. Small claims court is about as corrupt.

Try and find a private owner and check out his references.

The primary housing business in Cottonwood is to fleece uneducated newcomers.

You can verify this by going to AZ Public Access and search your management company's name. You will be stunned ....

DO not move to Cottonwood.

As Nancy stated above; the place is soooooo corrupt it will destroy you in less than one year. If you do as Nancy say's; check out the maqgenents reputation which I should have done, I would have avoided this entire Valley. As a result my family and I got totally destroyed by Bill Lundy's Kangaroo court.

People to stay away away from is Karen Sampson. She ran Aspen Ridge with an iron fist, prosecuting many unaware residents to gain their property and selling it for profit. Her son Jerramy was arrested and convicted of murder and is currently serving life. Wonderful people we have here. She was recently fired and is now at another Rottonwood complex doing the same thing.

Check out CBM Management or AWI or Legacy Management. They all suck.

The place is a haven for frucked up religious groups, it is just sickening.

Ok if you join in, then the whole Rottonwood Gang runs like a charm, but if you are an independent on Arabic thinking, your in.

To me it a sick place to live.

Oh my. Karen Sampson was the manager when I got into Aspen Ridge and she was gone like a week later from us actually moving in and i did hear she was pretty mean. But aspen ridge has a new person and she is great =] very nice

Mean is not exactly the correct word. She is a VISOUS, demeaning and mentally ill person who needs to go back to California like that James Ray guy. She illegally raised my rent 3 times and threatened me. She needs to be in jail for fraud and conspiracy to comit other commit crimes in Cottonwood. The word is harassment. Illegal use of other tenants to conspire against her enemies was a big problem at Aspen Ridge. She is now in Sagewood, who where recently raided and arrested over 30 people there for drugs and other crimes.

She needs to get out of town.

Glad Aspen Ridge is now safe.
