It is good to se that the idiotic message by the Justice Mayor has finally been removed from the village website to make room for more "important matters" like the centennial celebration.

I am sure that the people participating in this farce will be able to view our decaying village as this funeral procession runs through town. The main attractions in the procession will be foreclosed homes, contractor vans littering the driveways, empty lots with over grown grass and of course the deterioration of our streets, which is always overlooked by our fine politicians.

Therefore, on October the 16, 2011 the parade theme should be "ENJOY THE DECAYING OF OUR COMMUNITY", brought to you by our fine politicians. Maybe afterwards, as promised by "THE GREAT COALITION PARY", these politicians might be able to get back to the real business of running this pitiful municipality. After all, it is already October.

I don't think it's just the PVP. The people of Justice as we all know are sick and tired of the politicians that have used distractions to keep the people from the real issues that trouble this dying community. As a resident I have yet to see what the present board has done or for that matter the past governmemtal bodies have done for the betterment of our small village. However, these self serving, self proclaimed "public servants" find it in their hearts to entertain us by giving us a so called centennial party. So there for I happen to agree with AFAIC, when this poster writes that on Sunday October 16 the residents that participate in this "Centennial" parade will be celebrating a failing community that has been run and is still being run by selfserving inept "wannabe" politicians of all parties.

So folks if you want to pat these people in the back for bringing this town to the edge of failure, knock yourselves out.

What are all the people complaining that the town is decaying doing to help bring it back to life?

There is a lot of complaining done about what the boards do and don't do. Some boards have been worse than others, some better, but what has been firmly in place in the Village of Justice is apathy.

There is so much complaining going on but it's by a small group of people that complain over and over whenever the elections don't go their way.

What Justice needs is some rejuvination to get peopple back involved in this town the way that they used to be.

Honestly, if this board didn't do something for the centennial a group of people would complain that "It's 100 years and they did nothing!!!" then when they do try to do something it's "It's crappy, it's not enough, and why bother?"

If Justice is such a bad place to live, then move or get involved in the community and make it better. I don't care who you are, or what side of politics you are on, if all you can do is whine about how bad things are, and not step up and become involved you are part of a bigger problem.

It's about time the politicians removed this nonsensical jibbirish from the taxpayers website.

The website is supposed to be used to benefit the residents not for the mayor's political messages.

I agree with For thought, the election is over people, get over it or try again. But we won't vote for you if you don't have any original ideas of your own. I suggest a name change for starters.

That no one can save the Mayor from his own bad actions. Anyone that would think it would be okay to use the village website for something like that has to be a moron. Then again the people going around town doing crap like that are morons too.

What does that tell us? Both sides of the situation are stupid. The trustees can only prop this guy up for so long. Even though he's got his "political appointment" and he's talking up what a great choice it was for that pick to anyone that will listen. It's a great pick for him, less work, and someone that makes every vote about what he wants.

Time to find a more professional candidate for mayor. If he can't pull it off with a mostly professional board he won't pull it off no matter who is up there.

With 2012 around the corner it's unfortunate that Justice residents have to once again search for professional political candidates. It is my humble opinion that we will not find any.

Justice has always been the armpit of the southwest suburbs, and sorry to say that is where it will remain unless we vote vote proffesionals in our village government.

However the residents have to put pressure on the present "politicians" to perform for the good of the community and not only themselves. And, As Far As I'm Concerned, we have already started doing that by rejecting the hookah smoking lounge craziness that wasted almost a year of the village's board time. Let's keep up the pressure on village "politicians" This is only the beginning!

if you want change in Justice. The answer is very simple
Do not vote for anyone that is or has been affiliated with the following:

VVP
PVP
CPOJ
Unied party
Citizens party

Good luck finding 8 people within the village not affiliated woith these groups ! Justice needs to get new blood involved in running the town. To bad the rest ogf the 11000 residents could careless about how or who runs the town

I don't think this is true. I think there are probably some qualified people in each of these groups. I think that the big problem is that the residents don't care, and the ones that do are never happy with anything. If people that aren't affiliated with any of these parties get elected the minute they do people will be trashing them.
It's a no win situation.

You are right sir! This community only has a small group of residents complaining, what we need is a large group of concerned citizens complaining. For instance, the concerned residents that brought down the hooka pipe lounge busissines. If more residents united, we could change this village.
