The PVP is going to spend the next two years sitting on topix whining and crying about how they could do it all better. They didn't do it better the four or so years they were in office. They keep blaming 'previous administrations' but they ARE the previous administration. If all they have to offer is blame, whining and name calling there is no wonder why they lost this election.
They haven't changed and probably won't with jokers like DM, JK running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
Kris was their pick for mayor in the last mayoral election, now they want to say that he's worthless (which I think most people agree with) problem is that the PVP backed a bad choice once again (Phil D- anyone??) and now want to act like he isn't theirs. The PVP touched him last, ran him on their ticket and backed him. All the problems with this guy lands on them.
If you want our votes next election stop crying on the internet and start doing SOMETHING for the community.

Please, the only money they are spending on lawsuits is money that they are being forced to settle with from the stupidity of the mayor and at a time when failed PVP candidate Mary McGee was on the board.

We got rid of one of them during the last election, let's get rid of the other this election.

More examples of the PVP getting it wrong as usual, while I'm sure you want to put as much space between him and yourselves before the next election we all remember the glowing write ups that you wrote about Mayor Kris in your campaign materials last time he ran.

Hookah smoking: Is it safer than cigarettes?
Is hookah smoking safer than smoking cigarettes? I've been told that the water used in the hookah makes the tobacco less toxic.

Richard D. Hurt, M.D. Mayo Clinic

Hookah smoking is not safer than cigarette smoking. Also known as narghile, shisha and goza, a hookah is a water pipe with a smoke chamber, a bowl, a pipe and a hose. Specially made tobacco is heated, and the smoke passes through water and is then drawn through a rubber hose to a mouthpiece. The tobacco is no less toxic in a hookah pipe, and the water in the hookah does not filter out the toxic ingredients in the tobacco smoke. Hookah smokers may actually inhale more tobacco smoke than cigarette smokers do because of the large volume of smoke they inhale in one smoking session, which can last as long as 60 minutes.

While research about hookah smoking is still emerging, evidence shows that it poses many dangers:

Hookah smoke contains high levels of toxic compounds, including tar, carbon monoxide, heavy metals and cancer-causing chemicals (carcinogens). In fact, hookah smokers are exposed to more carbon monoxide and smoke than are cigarette smokers. As with cigarette smoking, hookah smoking is linked to lung and oral cancers, heart disease and other serious illnesses. Hookah smoking delivers about the same amount of nicotine as cigarette smoking does, possibly leading to tobacco dependence. Hookah smoke poses dangers associated with secondhand smoke. Hookah smoking by pregnant women can result in low birth weight babies. Hookah pipes used in hookah bars and cafes may not be cleaned properly, risking the spread of infectious diseases.
