It seems that the 5 million dollar surplus in the jwswc bank account isn't enough money to siphon off to repave the justice and willow springs streets. The two mayors are now raising our water so they can fix there crumbling streets. It seems that we all got are taxes raised without even having any say in the matter. Don't get me wrong we need new streets but taking money from the jwswc and using to repave streets seem like it is illegal. I guess when you are drowning in debt you will try anything to stay afloat.

Learn a bit of language basics. Start with "our" when you refer to the collective instead of "are". Your strength of argument will, however weak it already was, lose its teeth when you can't even grasp the English language. By the way, nobody cares about the JWSWC or how matters are being handled, good, bad, or indifferent. They still provide some of lowest rates in the metropolitan area, and even with essentially one person in maint. and operations, you still have constant flow and perfect water quality. How quickly we forget how lucky we are. Local politics will always seem imperfect to everyone in this area, so if you don't like who is in power, stand up and put yourself in the ring. Otherwise, stop whining.
PS. Think about it, actually stop and think; each time you flush your toilet, brush your teeth, cook, or take a shower how that water made it safely to your home.
Expect no further response. Have a pleasant day.

Well, well if it isn't mr. grammar man. Let me tell you that you ARE wrong (did I use that ARE correctly?)ARE water is of a high quality because it comes from Chicago, not because JWSWC had anything to do with it. And believe me that the only thing I think about when I flush the toilet is all the politicians from the JWSWC. And if the JWSWC had paid the water bill to Rham Emanuel, our water bill would not have gone up by 30%. BTW, what happened to the money that was not paid to Chicago, Hmm?

Expect no further response, but I know you better.

It appears to me that once again these two municipal governments have conspired against the residents that over pay them. The residents need to organize and "Occupy Justice and Occupy Willow Springs" or just keep on bending over. Our choice.
