Legislators denounce DOT as defiant

Top Alaska legislators have reached a broad, bipartisan agreement that the state's Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is unaccountable and does not do what the Legislature tells it to.

This is true for nearly all of our Alaska Departments! Especially Alaska Department of Fish and Game and The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. It begs the Question "where's Sean?", it's like there's no one at the helm of our ship. ADF&G writes regulations at whim, laws that we have to follow that have no statute to support them, ADEC writes tax laws, since when do they have this authority? Where's the oversight? oh that's right Tony Knowles removed it! when he got rid of the legislative review board.
