Former Alaska Gov Palin : Nuclear weapon in Iran's hands could lead to 'an Armageddon'

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says a nuclear weapon in the hands of Iran could "lead to an Armageddon" and a world war that could "decimate so much of this planet." Palin made her comments to the conservative website Newsmax.com, which posted excerpts of its interview online Monday.

Sarah is absolutely right.

Iran is a threat already as the are the leading sponsor of terror world wide, providing both money and weapons.

If Iran gets nukes it will destabilize the entire region. War would be certain.

I ran, would be the one country that wouldn't be afraid to use tier nukes.

Of course, Obama is asleep at the wheel, so as long as his is in office, we are screwed, and so is the rest of the world.

She is right. Being over here in Afghanistan / Pakistan border, thiese people have no restraint. Bin Ladin is trying to pull in support in Pakistan by helping the flood victims. This whole region is set to go up. The politicans have the militarys hands tied with this appeasement campain, so there is no head way. If we ever pull out of here Iran will be in here and Pakistan will be Taliban controlled. They already have nukes. People need to start paying attension to what's going on in this region.

Will they call her remarks crazy again?! Fanatics on both sides of the world control nuclear materials capable of creating or have already created weapons capable of horrendous destruction. These people are fanatics, terrorists and crazies. What does the rest of the world do - they create sanctions. Yep, we have all seen how well that works! Sarah at least calls a spade a spade.

Well she is right, a nuclear armed Iran is definitely a recipe for all out war unless the people of that nation rise up and overthrow the religious dictactors and the puppet president and install a true republic (what most people call a democracy) that is more interested in helping it's people than wiping Isreal off the face of the planet.

Ahmedinijad has very limited power in the Iran Republic, a democracy. He does NOT control the military. The Supreme leader, Ali Khameni, has overruled him many times, and has issued a binding Fatwa against the production, storage and use of nuclear weapons.
ahmedinijad is the first non cleric elected to the position. He's an engineer by training, and one of his main goals is to establish more equal distribution of oil money to the people. He, like every other world leader, knows oil supplies are getting tighter, and realizes, all things considered, that nuclear energy is the most realistic solution. Same reason the US, Asia, Russia, Germany, France, etc. are building reactors.(60 currently under construction)
Iran has NO history of starting wars. They realize the folly of popping off a nuclear weapon. Iran is larger than France, the UK, Italy and Canada. Why shouldn't they have nuclear power plants. Who are we to decide?

The USA spends more on Defense than the next 40 countries combined, and is the world's supermarket for weapons. Without continuous war, the factories must close, workers will go home, and politicians pockets will be empty.

Dwight Eisenhower warned us very clearly about the "unwarranted influence" of the Military Industrial Complex.

For the record, no "peacenik" here - an army vet.
