things to do in the winter in juneau

My husband and I are planning a trip to juneau from 12/25-12/31. What are some of the things to do up there during this time.

You know, I will just bet it is like coming to Texas in the summer. And you know what that is like! But, if you want to experience new things, I believe you can find things to do. Maybe just wander around and strike up conversations with the locals. We Texans are good about that, right? As my mama always told me, "Brenda, you could talk to a fence post for 5 hours!" And it is true. Don't let them discourage you. I, personally, really want to hear about that trip!

You could go whale watching...I think they have those tours during the winter time..I dk I just moved here.. but you could also just walk around the town, its absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

That's what I hear, but I am being told the whales are gone in the winter. But Brenda I will let you know how the trip was. I am hoping for snow and lots of it. Planning to take the ferry ride, only supposed to be like 6 hrs of daylight, that will be an experience. I can't wait to just take it all in.
