Head Football Coach not making the grade.

Coach Robby Robinson came from Junction City claiming he is a 34 year head coach?
It has been my observation that he restrains the ability of his athletes and coaching staff. His first year he took the spirit of playing football right out of the athletes and he is doing the same thing this year. The last game, every point scored was on a broken play.
The players are not allowed to challange for position.
The coaches are not allowed to discuss team decisions with the Head Coach.
Athletes that start and get playing time talk about quiting because the coach does not lead them to win (after playing poorly last game instead of working harder he let them sleep in athletic PE and cancelled practice?).
The fans watch in dismay as the coach continues to make bad decisions.
Just curious, if it was possible would you take him back at Junction City?
If so, Why or Why Not?

Is it possible no one has heard of the infamous coach?
Well the new team he has hijacked suffered a 50-20 loss.
The obvious issues are coaching inconsistancy and lack of leadership.
Records show that he coached Junction City high and Silverton High k-12 teams. Does anyone have anthing positive about this coach? It seems he has ruined the senior class of 2006 and is working on 2007.
I want to be wrong!

I am sadden by any negative comments about my coach. I played for coach Robinson in Silverton. I, well was not the kind of kid that you wanted to take your daughter out, and I hung with the wrong crowd. Coach Robinson help me clean up my act when I was young. I played for him two season before graduating. I had a 1.75 GPA and left with a 3.1 average. I'm now a police officer and a college graduate. Yes, we won a state championship... but The best players on the team would get benched if they didn't follow a total TEAM approach "Together Each Achieves More". The words "it's all in the attitude". he will retrain you to believe in yourself. Sure you will have 1 or 2 super stars, he will pull the reigns on them to build the entire team. I f you want your kid to be great and a superstar and better than every other kid out there then you have your son on the wrong team. Every kid on the team will be the super star. At 5'7 170lbs. With my new atitude coached played me at nose gaurd and i recieved all league awards. And I only played part time. You must believe... Because he will change lives... not only on the field... but off. your boys are in the best hands... Don't enable your son who wants to complain...watch...believe... you will see the magic... There are so many people lives changed by this coach... "1-0 Foxes pride.. beat Bandon"

I am very shocked to hear the negative comments about Mr. Robinson. He was a amazing coach for a long time in silverton. Coach brought that entire town together on friday nights to watch the silver and black usually dominate the fellow team. Coach always preached "The Team". He affected so many people in and outside of football in silverton. There was never a empty seat in the stands. He was loved by all in silverton and i will never forget him. I found this site cause i was telling a old football story to a buddy and how amazing this coach was in silverton in the 1990 s. I still cant belive we are talking about the same man. Coach knows how to win, trust me. Give it a little time and the w's will pile up. SI LV ER TON SILVERTON SILVERTON FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!

I just went and looked at this teams record from Sacramento after coach left as the head football coach there. He went 5-5 in the 06 year, sadly the next year under a new coach they failed to win 1 game. 0- 10, enough said. I am not sure where is he coaching now either or if he still is coaching, but when he was he was dam good at it!!!

Coach came to Silverton, and the first year took the team the the 3A state championship from past loosing seasons, and the team lost to Reedsport if I remember correctly and that was the only loss that season, the next season 13-0 with 6 shutouts, and a 3A Football Championship, it was amazing how he took a program and made it into a cinderella story. Its all in the Attitude, was the moto, I have taken this with me in the Marine Corps and prospered having served almost 16 years now, and my enthusiasm is still rocking. You tube marines vigil and you will see.

Okay, I am going to make an assumption you are a biased parent who may have thought their child was going to go play at USC on a full ride -- but was really not very good! C'mon, admit it -- typical parent ( we are all the same if we live our athletic dreams through our kids.)
Now Robbie Robinson: First class guy. A winner in spite of the team's record. He is a coach that teaches not only the game, but also cares about the player! He is competitive and a pitbull but with great humor too. I would have loved for my son to have played and learned under Coach Robbie. I loved playing baseball with him and he exceeded his abilities(which were good) with his smarts, attitude, and instinct!
Go Robbie! Best to you wherever you coach and teach!
