If a son was already in the tub.....how can putting the 10 month old in the tub get scalded and the older one not.
Something isn't adding up. String the guy up!
Yes the older son was already in the tub before the younger son was put in. And it is annotated in the hospitals offical report regarding the tolerance difference in a 10 month old and a 3yr old's skin.

You're widdle soldier boy didn't do nothing, did he mamma?
He stuck his 10 month old stepson into a tub of water that was SO HOT it scalded the baby. And then he left him in there long enough to develop second degree burns severe enough that the baby had to be transported to a hospital specializing in burn care.
"...corupt officials that are behind all this..."
The evil is really the dozens of medical doctors, hospital care workers and social agency workers that treated the baby and are all out to get your widdle big man.
"All they care about is lining thier own dirty pockets."
Now how does that work? Dr. Burnbaum holding out his hand for a bribe or he'll tell on your boy? Inspector Jim needing his palm greased or your boy will do time for child abuse? LOL!
Were you also defending your baby boy as he hurt animals and pulled the wings off flies?
Ok. Where to even start on you. I guess from the top so it will be easier for you to understand how worthless you are.

1. I am not the mans mother. I am a male. And before you even you jump to next, No I am not his father either.

2. According to the official reports the baby was in the water for less then a minute. The doctor classified it as a flash burn. And to note, the baby was not transferd to a burn specialist. He was taken to the closest ER ( by the step-father) and from there transferd to the closest children's hospital. That is a standard practice for most hospitals when dealing with young children.

3. No not the doctors, they did their jobs. And even stated in the report that they felt it was not done to intentionally harm the child. And not cops either, they are only doing their job. Its 1. the CPS and 2. the DA.

4. I am not defending the accidental scalding of the child. I am against the unjust treatment the man is reviving from the CPS and the DA. For example: the CPS requested a restriction that the man was not allowed to have any contact with his wife. And of course the DA approved. So during a recorded phone call between the man and his mother, he asked his mother how his wife was holding up. Because of that the DA states that the man broke the restriction and placed an extra 10 thousand on mans bond. So if you can tell me that there is not some corruption behind the scenes in all this then you are living in a very pretty fantasy world, and I highly suggest you open your eyes to what is really going In this world.

And the last thing I have for you... Try to pay attention to your grammar when your posting something that the whole world can see. I was under the impression that you were an aged male because of your name reading “Gramps” but now after seeing words like “widdle” and not the mention the use of double negatives in your sentences I am starting to believe that you are around the age of a high-school girl.

1. I'm just curious as to where you are getting access the the "official" reports. They are confidential and if you are releasing confidential information that would be a crime wouldn't it?

2. Geary County doesn't have a "DA" they have a CA which stands for County Attorney which we have one of, one Deputy County Attorney and three Assistant County Attorneys

3. Kansas doesn't have CPS. It has never been called CPS. It was previously SRS and is now DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services)

4. How do you know what was said on the phone call? Were you there? Were you listening in?

5. The County Attorney does not set the "no contact orders". The Judge who conducts the hearings sets the no contact orders and is the only one who can change it.

Any one with knowledge of the court systems can have access to files that I have read. Releasing of general knowledge is not a crime. Dates, times, names, that kind of stuff is. DA/CA CPS/DCFS same thing diff name. They do the same job. But from everything Ive read even on other cases the kansas CPS is absoltley horrible when it comes to his kind of stuff. No I was not listenig in. Everything is typed in black and white to read. All the judge does is sign off and read the charges. The people in the back office are the ones who make calls.

First, It's Grampa not Gramps. Attention to detail is important, son.

Second, you are as full of shit as a Christmas Goose. Apparently I am not the only one that thinks so.

Third, Your story is so full of holes as to be laughable.

You can't get the agency names right, even though you supposedly read their documents and dealt with an imaginary informant from the back room and THEN you go on to accuse them under the wrong names again - "Its 1. the CPS and 2. the DA." and again in paragraph 4.

Releasing "general knowledge" in an ongoing investigation would be tantamount to violating court confidentiality. Your imaginary informant should be brought up on charges.

In fact, since I know Steve personally I will ensure I get your information to him. He needs to be brought up to speed on how the people in the back room are feeding you confidential information.

I can't imagine what kind of treatment your widdle buddy is "reviving" from our non-existant "DA" but when told to have no contact and BREAKING that contact he deserves to have whatever fine placed upon him.

This little piece of crap kid that burned his stepson needs to be strung up by his gonads. I know that you are missing your widdle buddy, but you need to back the hell up and look at the bigger picture. Someone hurt a kid and your little friend fits the criteria and seems to be the culprit.

If he is indeed innocent, then the doctors "written in black and white" statement should free him. If there is no corroborating or compelling evidence to prove that this was an accidental burning, well, you are going to be missing your little friend for some time.

Let me know when you want your head-slaps delivered, sonny.

K gramps. Whatever floats your boat. I prefer to use DA and CPS because these are terms known through out the 50 states. And as you said "Attention to detail is important". So I will say it again so you don't miss it. The man had not contacted his wife. He simply asked his mother if his wife was ok. And lastly I do enjoy your comment about how the man will be missed when he has already been released. Oh but you know Steve. So you already knew that didn't you.

but not arrest records. It sounds like another case of people reading a few paragraphs of a newsreport - only what the pd wanted to release, and they are ready to convict. Just because someone was arrested, does not mean they are guilty.
The story posted on a Friday, it said the incident happened on Thursday, yet by Friday the child had been released from the hospital. Obviously the injuries were not too bad.

That's not a "court record" with detailed information like a sealed juvenile case would have.

Concerned Citizen, sounds like you have been sitting in court or perhaps are in the soldier's chain of command. You are not correct about the public record of this case. It is a child welfare case and is protected. Your knowledge is somehow first hand. If you are part of this soldier's chain of command you are walking a fine line by posting this stuff in a public forum. If you are family you are a fool. This type of behavior is idiotic and undermines the right to a defense and trial for this soldier. You may think you are helping when in fact you are not.
