http://www.edenspace.com/team/careers.html... How long do we wait befoer we get our 4.5 MILLION DOLLARS back? Maybe this is the money we should be pursuing, instead of mill levy increases and bogus trips to Washington DC for partying.

The profits made by locals on that deal will "trickle down" and boost the local economy, right taxpayer ?

The only way we will ever get anything back from Edenspace is if they come up with a marketable product and subsequently get acquired by a larger firm. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning!

To quote DJ Christie, the developer that acquired the old Econo Foods bulding for $1.1M only to have Barnes gift him $1.1M in a foregivable grant, getting money out of Barnes was like taking candy from a baby!

Opportunities for bioresearch labs? No thanks- even our chamber of commerce and edc aren't that stupid.

More promises of a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end of it. It'll only take some Economic Development money and tax breaks, and then the region (hint, hint Junction City) will have streets lined with gold!

LOL!!! You can't make this insane nonsense up.

I interviewed for a position at Edenspace in Manhattan a little over five years ago. I still remember the interview because Edenspace had some of the rudest staff that I have ever met. Something tells me they hated being situated in Kansas and would have jumped ship at the earliest opportunity. Does anyone know if Edenspace is still incorporated in Kansas?
