Scott Johnson seems to play both sides of the fence, doesn't he? First he complains that we need to develop homes on existing infrastructure but then decides to start more in his front yard? I wonder who's going to pay for all this new infrastructure we don't need? Is Scott running out of money? Is that why he's selling his front yard? Maybe we can turn the mansion into a theme park.

What happened, did Johnson bang your wife when you were in Fee Et Nam or something? This sort of calling out is just juvenile but typical of your bullying nature. I don't know Johnson but apparently his character is more innocent than yours, Jerry.

I went to every council meeting a few years ago. I remember him screaming at city meetings about to many lots being made. He yelled we don't need more lots! He was mad that they were being developed by someone else. Now he's making more lots! As long as it benefits the commissioner's pocket book its ok?

If you don't know johnson how can you comment on someone elses comments about him? The guy just asked some interesting questions about him. I didn't notice any flaming like in your post.

Let's analyze that:

He said:
Scott Johnson seems to play both sides of the fence
That's flaming.
I wonder who's going to pay for all this new infrastructure we don't need?
Implies Johnson is a crook.

BTW, the peoiple who live there'll need it.
Is Scott running out of money? Is that why he's selling his front yard? Maybe we can turn the mansion into a theme park.
Questions Johnson's financial solvency.

If you believe my post "crossed the line" but none of that did, your judgement is severely flawed.

I believe his objection was to the massive tax dollar giveaways and inconceivable waste of tax dollars that was occurring in JC, not to the building of houses.

Let's analyze that:

"He said:

Scott Johnson seems to play both sides of the fence

That's flaming."

No. That's not what was said. That's a misquote by you to add weight to your already weak argument. The sentence was a question but you chose to edit it thereby altering it from a question to a statement. That equates to lying to win an arguement and invalidates any subsequent statement you made in your post. So much for your integrity, SCOTT. Nice try. Better luck next time, liar.

That's just stupid. You know what he meant, and it was flaming.

I agree, you butchered that guys comments in your response. I think YOU are just talking trash and trying to start an argument. I guess you'll have to say something immature and snotty to me for making this observation.

I don't think the initial comment was flaming at all. It was a simple opinion followed by what they considered "both sides of the fence". Unfortunately, the poster went on to guess about Scott's motivation to do this and then the unnecessary suggestion to turn the mansion into a theme park.

I don't understand Jerry's animus toward Scott Johnson. they are both conservative Republicans, two peas in a pod. granted, Johnson's ethics are slightly more advanced than Jerry's, but still....

I thought he had it re-zoned "agricultural". Now he wants to build houses on it?
I heard stuff too

I heard he's having financial difficulties and that's why he's turning the property into a housing area. I think it has to do with high property taxes on that place. He rezoned the land to agricultural to reduce the amount of taxes he has to pay.

He has taken down the gates, building crackerboxes up there.

Now that it is a common drive, lets all hop in our cars and go up there with some burgers, fries and coke and eat lunch in the gazebo, and leave our trash there. It will give Scott somethign to do!

If he wants to sell his yard and build housing on it, more power to him. God bless the USA and the freedom to do so.
