It's a bookstore. They'll sell books. Should make millions in first year. Maybe billions.

If recreational marijuana and prostitution was legal, they could advertise nationally as a resort. The tax revenue, job creation, supporting businesses and employees, proximity to I-70, K-State, and Ft Riley, as well as micro-metro areas Salina and Topeka, would create a solid client base. This would spawn competition, creating more choices and options, creating yet more jobs and inevitable growth. These vices are a reality, driven underground by archaic, outdated laws and morals. The demand is there, and in the future people will marvel at the fact that these revenue-creating vices were prosecuted, rather than regulated, taxed, and controlled. Of course, this won`t happen any time soon, especially here. We will continue to leave these businesses operating in the shadows, un-taxed, un-regulated, and tying up Law Enforcement and the court system, while more serious crimes are overlooked. Legalized prostitution and marijuana would solve more of what ails the US than any other intiative. It`s simply an unpopular stance in many circles, and a logical solution in others.

Junction City could turn this into a loss for taxpayers faster than you can say pass the joint.

That would be great. Does JC realty need another nail salon, Starbucks and restaurant? The pharmacies at Walmart and Dillons are overwhelmed to say the least.
