Article states no citations were issued. What the heck? The girl either ran the stop sign, or at the very least failed to yield. Unbelievable!

This is ridiculous that no citation was issued, killing a human being by driving negligent and with out any consciousness what so ever. I guess thats how the balance of justice decline to some unfortunate people.

As long as your urine is pure, there`s not much you can`t get away with. Really poor measure of accountability and responsibility.

She was texting and ran the stop sin killing a father, grandfather and someone's husband. Till July 1 all she did illegal was run the stop sign. It is listed as an "accident". What bullshit!

Rest in peace Orlando. You were a super father, grandfather, friend and a neighbor. You did a lot of good for the community, helped a lot of people and expected nothing in return. You had a big heart. You had lots of friends and you will be sadly missed. RIP

This is so sad....I am so tired of the dependency on the cell phone. Everytime I go out anymore, people are texting and yapping while driving. There is no way that this does not impact the ability to drive. I almost got hit the other day up by the dillons parking lot...some idiot yapping on there phone not paying attention. Thank God I was paying attention.

I hope that people will start making more responsible decisions when driving so things like this will not happen. I have a teenage son and this issue has become one of the main points in our responsibilites conversations. Two of his friends have already been in accidents (minor thank god) due to texting while driving up by the highschool.

So sad for the man that lost his life and for his family.

Orlando was an excellent man all the way around.

My sympathies and prayers for his family.

Without regard to the "texting while driving" law...

...this young lady that caused his death will most certainly face charges.

...Inattentive driving...

...Vehicular manslaughter...

...and a string of minor charges which will be attached.

This whole "cell phone/texting" phenomenon is ridiculous.

It's hard for people of MY generation to understand why idiots can't set their little phones down long enough to go from A to B.

It is unbelievable to think she will not be charged with anything. Orlando was an outstanding member of the motorcycle community and will certainly be missed. On behalf of the Combat Veterans Association our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Thank you all for your positive comments about Orlando, he was my uncles. And like most of you I do think and know he was a great man, grandfather, brother and uncle. This crime should not be left unpunished. If some one could keep me updated on this matter I will greatly appreciate it.

Tio Orlandito is my uncle and reading all the amazinly positive things that people have to say about him warms my heart. It makes me proud to see what an impact he has made. God is in charge and all that happens is his will. God bless you all who knew him and loved him. There is one more angel in heaven....till we meet again.

AZ law-are you serious?! Someone's family member died and you come on here with that!

AZ law is WTF trying to tie a Puerto Rican-born U.S. citizen and veteran`s tragic death to illegal immigration because he`s prejudiced against all hispanics. His cat and dog eating posts are a dig at asians. He also hates black folks, so he`s an Equal Opportunity hater. He hates himself most of all and I don`t blame him.

Yes others survived but you don't write some stupid stuff like that on here. Just because his nephew called him uncle in spanish doesn't mean you need to start talking about immigration laws. Start up your own topic and don't disrespect the dead and their family by doing something like you did.

AZ you are one sick piece of crap, sorry excuse for a human being. There are several threads, active threads on immigration law. One is titled ILLEGALS....Why would you come on to a thread were people are leaving their respects for someone that past away? Someone that was well known in this community and had nothing to do with illegal aliens? You have just shown that you have nothing but a racist heart full of hate. Orlando had nothing to do with illegal aliens. He was a productive citizen of this community and you are trying to start trouble based on someones name, or nationality...What the hell is wrong with you?

If you're going to be jerk, at least TRY to look like an intelligent jerk.

We lost a good man, a good friend and a good member of this community.

Could you at least wait until the family gets to bury him, before continuing with your ignorance?

Just click "report abuse" on WTF. Four people do that and his posts disappear.
This is not the time nor the place for his stupidity or ignorance. I have tried to ignore, don't read "most" of his posts but this is one place that they should not be.
Orlando was my neighbor, friend, and a fellow rider. He had a heart of gold. His family should not have to read comments from this idiot.
Again just click "report abuse" and then "flag inappropriate post.
Thank you

If AZ law is WTF he did the same thing on the thread about the guy killing himself a couple of years ago. Such a pathetic human being.
