This man can sing his heart out. The acoustics of the Opera House would do his vocal talents and wide-ranging tenor justice , and send chills down your spine as his melodious notes touch your very soul. Dan Graves , coming soon to a venue near you.
good idea

Karaoke Night at the Opera House. That is a pretty good idea, no kidding.

For those that have never heard Dan sing you are missing out on probably one of the best singers in the county.

His voice has a hint of old country like Lefty Frizzell mixed with a smoky raspiness of rocker Bryan Adams.

When you combine that voice quality with brilliant songwriting, not to mention his Charlie Rich silver fox good looks, well you have the ingredients for a Superstar.

Why this guy isn`t playing to packed houses in Nashville, Austin, and Branson is a mystery. A voice like his comes around once in a decade. Dan is a Flint Hills treasure. Like many artists, he`s stayed under the radar for so long that a break out hit is overdue and inevitable. His rendition of "Jennifer" is one of the most powerful, emotional performances I have ever heard. The tender lyrics, combined with Dan`s soulful crooning, can bring a tear to the eye of even the the most stoic of tough men anywhere. His talent will be a huge boost in promoting JC and the surrounding Flint Hills Region.

At least he has the courage to get on the microphone. I, for one, salute him.

Gor Blimey, cant say i'm a fan. its bloody awful off-tune and choppy. theres a reason he isnt playing nashville, austin, branson, its pretty duff. get some time behind him and then give it a go again.

What in hell have you been smoking or drinking?
That attempt at singing is pathetic.

There definitely is no mystery why he is not playing to packed houses anywhere.

The acoustics at the opera house would only emphasize his bad attemp at singing.

All this, has to be a joke right.

Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen`s vocals have been criticized too. Both are American icons and Dan Graves is well on his way to joining that exclusive club.

Dylan became great because his audience was always stoned and did
not care who was singing.

Springsteen's music is so loud you can not understand the lyrics.

So Dan lip syncing might be your forte, just put a good piece of music behind you.

You Topix people I swear! Can't you say anything nice about people? You're always being mean. Always. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!

I am not being mean, this post started with someone saying how talented, and how great a singer this guy is. They gave us a link to listen to him sing. He can't sing very well. He needs to hang his hopes elsewhere because he will never make it as a singer because he isn't any good. I can't sing either it's not mean it's the facts.

I just listened to the song again. THIS WHOLE POST IS A JOKE, it has to be, anyone that can hear can tell this guy is not a singer. Maybe he has a career in songwriting but he needs to leave the singing to others, In spots he kind of sounds like cats fighting

Agree except one thing, the music is set to and the lyrics parallels {There is no secret what God can do}, seems like some plagiarism going on here. Not a songwriter, just using others material.

I listened again and it was worse the second time around.
