I thought it was a great place! To be honest who cares who is opening up a new restaurant in JC,it is just nice to have a calm, relax place to go once and a while in this town. People like you are the ones are too afraid to do such a thing to make an important change. Props to them for doing such a wonderful thing for this community!!!

Good God people. The place just opened. Give it a break. Don't knock it unless you try it.

Doesn't matter a persons life style, you are going there for the food, not the person.

That is why a lot of businesses fail, too much cutting it up, before it even gets off the ground.

No I am not affiliated with it. I do live in JC though.

Amen! I don't care either. He's providing a service to the community. Jobs and a place were family, friends and colleages can gather in a descent atmosphere. Something this city has lacked. I've been there and it's comparable to many eateries on the east coast. Classy and professional. It's about time!

Haven't been to Stevies yet, but am looking forward to trying it. I appreciate a local family supporting Junction City and opening a business here instead of running to Manhattan. Hopefully when I go there I won't see any of the bigots posting on this site.

I just went there for the first time this evening. The atmosphere was great, so was the menu, the service and the prices. Best of all, the food was truly very good! Lots of locals patronizing this place and I hope that all will return again and again. I know that we will! Also, they have a different menu for lunch, so I'm looking forward to checking that out. Don't condemn Stevie for trying to help make JC a better place to live. Isn't that our local matto?

I am baffled by the complete oversight of the fact that someone is doing something in an attempt to better their life. Instead most of the comments here are filled with ridicule and judgement. Who gave anyone the right to judge the owner of this establishment? It isn't a good idea to throw stones at glass houses...

I am baffled as to why so many people have an opinion of a place that has only been open a couple of weeks. Some of the "for" supporters read like ads for the place and are obviously placed by people associated the business. As with any new restaurant you won't know what it's like until it has been open a while, regardless of any preferences of the owner.

Obviously only to the stupid, such as you.

I challenge you to document your claim of "obviousness". It is only "obvious" to an imbecile such as yourself. You jump to conclusions because that's how your low-level brain functions, blinding you with your fragile emotions, and then assume everyone else is as big of a moron as you are.

Its crazy to think that because someone posted a good review, your low life self assumes it must be someone involved in the business. Get a life and go try it before you knock it, maybe it really is that good of a place. But im sure that wont happen because you cant hide behind a screenname in public.

I won't give anything a free walk. That wasn't the writing of a unsolicited review. That was the writing of a friend, an employee, or ownership. Perhaps they (and you) should identify yourselves so that is ruled out.

Its not a free walk if you have NOT tried it. I just cant grasp how someone can talk bad about a place and has never stepped foot in the establishment. And theres no use in identifying who i am because you would have no idea who i was and you would just assume i know the people who own it. So once again quit hiding behind a screenname and go try it. Im glad that my town has people who try to better it, unlike you who only try to bring the good down.
