Brownback's voo doo tax scheme, return of appointing appellate judges based on patronage, his mishandling of Kansas education, and the impact on the poor from bad decisions on KanCare and the refusal to expand Medicaid is just too much.

What did Sebelius do that would make you define her as "the worst Governor in Kansas?"
I imagine there are probably many people who are not feeling the effects of Brownbacks, but those who are property owners, associated with small business, associated in any way with any level of school, the judicial system, the arts, emergency services, outdoor industry, medical field, anyone with medical needs, or the construction industry (I'm sure I missed a few) have felt the negative effects of the Brownback.
Boy you sure paint a bleak and tempest picture. My what ever will we do? Oh wait I know lets look at some facts, the state of Kansas has the exact same standard and poor rating as 14 other states. Has the ability to meet all short and long term payable s. And sits right in the middle of the fifty geographically and economically with some richer and some poorer sooooo what is your point. Beyond griping and just not liking conservatives.
One last thought; On medical costs please see Obama Care. There are a few feeling that Ill tell you. guess where they are feeling it. haha

So you save $100 a year while the state goes down the tubes. This is a prime example of the Brownback regime duping the easily fooled populace into voting against themselves.

Your misplacing your appreciation for that drop - that was on the ballot. This was not a "Brownback" decision, it was the voters of Kansas who decided that one - anything else?

So you save $100 a year while the state goes broke. You've been duped into voting against yourself and everybody's best interests to make the rich richer.

We have a revenue deficit problem for one basic reason: Reducing Taxes only works when you fix the SPENDING problem. If we were truly fiduciary we would have cut spending as much as we cut taxes. Yet the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing so they work against each other. When we REDUCE government to its basic form and only allow it money enough to perform the basics and eliminate the social and economic manipulation we will have a functional and Constitutional representation. This CAN be accomplished by adopting the FAIR TAX formula if we join it with SPENDING cuts and reduction of Gvt.
Our neighboring States are following our LEAD in many of Brownback's initiatives as he pursues his Conservative Economic plan. What we need is a State House that defunds those government entities that have no place in our budget when we truly adopt a Constitutional government. The Senate needs to Continue to eliminate fraud and abuse by those that remain.
I too have prospered under Brownback's reign.

bleak and tempest picture - yeah, I will agree with you on that - but it is an accurate picture. Lets see:
As for the standard and poor's rating, they have only downgraded one other state in the past year, only two others in the past several years and we were downgraded as a direct result of Brownback's policies - no other way to spin that one.
People are fleeing the state - our population is down by 10,000 since 2010 - what happened to the grand plan to bring people in to the rural communities by giving them a 5-year break on withholding tax - what a failed idea.
Taxes were increased for the lowest earners in Kansas by decreased for the high earners
Kansas refused to expand Medicade coverage, leaving thousands uninsured - which in turn costs the rest of us
In April alone Kansas took in 28 percent less in personal income tax revenue than projected,, almost double the decline of any other state.
Economists are warning that the "rainy day" fund that Brownback has already said will likely be used - will be gone by this time next year.
It's getting late or I would gladly go on - Theses are all facts - no spin, no opinion - there is nothing going right when it comes to the state's finances - this grand experiment as Brownback himself called it is a failure.

What do you consider a fair tax , Wally ? The 1% like yourself paying just 1%? Then taxing the piss out of the working poor ? If you're prospering , some poor working stiff is paying the price. It's a big tent with a shrinking opening. Kochtopia !

Brownback would be a good governor......if this was Alabama in 1954.
Alabama in 1954 ? It was Kansas in 1954 that got the courts attention Topeka wasn't letting Black kids into white schools ,(Brown Vs The Board of Education). Don't pat yourself on the back Sod buster!!

I love Sam. My brother and I are saving hundreds of millions a year by not having to pay state income tax any more. Screw the poor, screw the wage earners, screw public schools. No pain, no gain. Your pain, my gain! If you get sick, die quickly. If you are on welfare or disability, consider yourself the loser in the natural selection process, just don't make me drive around you as you die on the streets. I love Kansas and Sam! Now if we can get rid of the socialist president life will be almost perfect......

What's amazing is that all these far right , super wealthy conservatives claim Christianity is their moral compass while their actions and rhetoric run counter to the teachings of Jesus.
