Dudley is just the same as Edwin, maybe different in terms of immorality but he's the same.
A lot of pentecostal preachers are the same, they seek any, and sometimes all of the following three things: POWER, MONEY and SEX. Most of these preachers might have good things to say, but they are not anointed and they want one of the above things. Think about it, you either have a Pastor like Edwin that wanted sex obviously. Or you have a Pastor like most that wants money. Or you have the Pastors that just want power and position.
All a Pastor should be is a shepherd, not someone running your life. This is why so many people and churches are messed up, they don't live for God they live for man. Someone quoted it earlier in this thread, but the scripture that talks about "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
Everyone has to be loyal to the Pastor or they aren't saved. No, you need to be loyal to God! Pentecost is such a LOL GAme nowadays. So much perversion, so much mind control, so many games, so many fake people. A lot of delusional people as well.

Not a daughter of Saul wrote: Ftabmember, you may feel you're a loving Christian who is lovingly placing an arm around these people who are reeling from these tragic events as you delicately bring them to the light from all their delusions about the necessity of obeying the commands you have been freed from, but it might be something to consider the pain you are inflicting. Sit down and practice empathy for 2 minutes today. These people have lost an entire family who was precious to them. Aren't you glad topix wasn't around when this happened to your pastor? Aren't you glad you didn't have a family ready to pounce on your faith because of it? Aren't you glad it's not your life being dissected on here? Every time one of your leaders falls, aren't you glad your family doesn't take the opportunity to say hurtful and demeaning things? When you call people stupid, dumber than a box of rocks, ignorant, seekers of abuse, insane, and say racist sounding comments such as "Lashonda is a NAME?" it might not be taken by some as the love of Christ. Remember this is what you accused their ministers of, not being loving in their teaching approach. The test of character is how a person treats the less fortunate, and since these folks were clearly born with smaller brains than yours, compassion, not bashing, would be in order. These are HUMAN BEINGS, regardless of their choice of religion. To anyone out there who believes they cannot be brainwashed: The notion that only stupid ignorant people can be brainwashed is not sound. EVERY ONE OF US IS BRAINWASHED. Numerous studies have shown the mind control that television has, for one example. Which is why advertisers pay billions of dollars a year for TV ads. To influence and control where we put our money. Military people go through a process of brainwashing during training. It's safe to say every person in the world is deluded about something every day of their lives. One of the biggest leaders of the Apostolic church was at one time COMPLETELY brainwashed. His delusion was so deep he believed WITH ALL HIS HEART that he was doing the right thing by opposing them. He actually succeeded in having several members killed. He murdered people who had obeyed Acts 2:38. Then he became Paul. Like you, he thought he was an expert on the sect, when actually he knew very little about it. Is it safe to say when he found out more, it blew his mind? Most Apostolics will OPENLY state that they KNOW THEY ARE brainwashed, they WANT their minds to be slowly washed out by the preaching and teaching of the word of God, they HOPE to be influenced, changed, transformed daily. Some succeed and some don't. Some come out as gold and some as dross. You have openly said no man will ever tell you what to do. Jesus and the apostles, to the best of my knowledge, were all men. After Jesus talked about the commandments of men in Matt 15, He went on to give the disciples commandments which they passed down to the church. You call men who pass those commandments down false prophets, even though you yourself have quoted one of those commands repeatedly here. You're only confusion is that you repeat the command rather than fulfilling it, as the Apostles did. If you have ever had a single ounce of love for me, would you consider practicing empathy? I'll gladly discuss any of these points with you once my spirit is right. ----- It's hard to believe anyone could respond to my post with such deep and hurtful anger. I would recommend the same 'outside' counseling for you as I would to anyone who is so unhappily abiding in a cult. -----

I gotta say, there's a hurting congregation, Ftabmember adds insult to injury with some very ugly comments, and when rebuked responds with "go get counseling." Where is this church of yours where the loves flows so freely, Tab??? Your brand of Christianity is a turn off to even me. Up to now I was impressed with some of your points. But come on, is this empathy to you? This is an open opportunity for those of us who name the name of Christ to support and reach out to these people. Not with judgement and name calling. How could we possibly win one person with that? Statistically speaking if we haven't been in their shoes already we will be one day. Just sayin'.

Just sayin'. ----- My sympathetic post addressed the part of the congregation that recognizes that what their leadership did was cultish on the one hand and cruel on the other. These few folks will hopefully think twice about being in this kind of assembly to begin with, as it only creates the perfect environment for abuse on every level. The 'pastors' have no accountablility whatsoever and that's because they're worshipped as gods who are there to serve themselves and whip (or should I say scream) their sheeple into shape. All the drama needs to stop. I know drama is a key element of these churches but it's time to find a church that is more concerned with preparing its people to go out and witness to a lost world. The people just don't need any more self-serving indoctrinatiion, instead, they need a pastor who preaches 'the whole counsel of God', which the Apostle Paul proclaimed he did not fail to preach to the people. God knows we don't need any more secluded cults that separate themselves in every way from the communities they live in. We need Christians who know the difference between righteousness and self-righteousness. Christians who know how to humbly win souls for Jesus. It takes great faith and a lot of courage to go find a good church, and these days they may be few and far between, but they're out there, and these people need a church that's happy and healthy and cares more for God and a lost world than for pleasing a self-serving man. May God help them. -----

Why would anyone be surprised by the goings on at FT, after all the city swallowed the kool aid given by Barnes, Roades, and Wunder. Ft is just a smaller version of the dumbed down community that you live in. When you read Topics you see just how stupid this place you are living in really is. I am sure more shocks will come to this cesspool.

It all will prevail itself in the end. Jordan is guilty, his family is guilty the church family and all of the followers are guilty as well. My hats go off to Tim Brown- chief of police and the FBI and the KBI as well as Lindsey! Just crack the case so our town can begin it's healing process. Keep that molester behind bars and for those of you on here talking about I don't know what I'm talking about and need to shut up, you will swallow them words in the end because you don't know if I have a child involved or not! I can start naming names on here but, the giulty that has done all the dirt in the dark are being exposed to the light and the show must go on.... and to the lady that call herself responding to me, you are messy and brainwashed just like the others. You probably are a x-member who was touched too! so I pray for you.

I find it funny how after FT just got raped (literally), they were so eager to accept a new Pastor. No praying about it or anything? Wow. Forget "wath and pray."

Whoops there it is wrote: <quoted text> So I hear that Dudley is telling people that they are nothing without a prayer life. Hmmmm sounds familiar beating people up with negativity instead of leading them with positive reinforcement. When will people learn that running others down is not a good motivator. So sad!!!! ----- You've hit the nail on the head. All false churches and cults major in sin and negativity. Although it keeps the congregations submitting and depressed, at the same time it serves to make them self-righteous so they can't identify with anyone but other cult members. -----
