I just wanted to voice my displeasure in the fact that a few of the 3rd floor windows have been broken out for OVER a year.
No one seems to even be concerned.
With as much rain as we have gotten this past year I would hate to know the extent of the damages this has caused to the old building. I can imagine the black mold that must be creeping through the walls at this time.
20 dollars worth of glass and a few hours work time could have saved whoever owns it thousands of dollars.
Anyone know who owns this building now ?

I have noticed those broken widows too, I keep thinks I'll drive around the corner one day and see someone fixing them, but so much time has passed I doubt that anyone even knows they're broken out- sad

I thought MCSA owned it but I could be wrong. I know their business office is located there as well as AHEC. Lots of stuff stored in the old part of the Warner Brown Building. I noticed the windows too. The old part is definitely beginning to be an eyesore. I think that I have heard in the past that there is not a lot that they can do with it due to asbestos.

HELL YEAH they need to get those damn windows fixed. I been livin in that buildin for 4 months now and it's drafty as hell up in there! Only good thing is I use the glass to make homemade spears which I use to catch my dinner. The longer the windows stay shattered the more dogs are gonna come up missing!

The old red brick part of that building is haunted from basement to roof, ask anyone that has worked there since the nuns left. It's a shame it's not kept in repair, whoever owns it could make a fortune.

Wow, the city must have a lot of cash available. That old building is so loaded with asbestos.......... it is gonna cost a fortune to get anything done with that old building. That is why the hospital hasn't done anything with it.

Why won't somebody take 40 minutes to repair this window or at least board it up? sometimes I'm ashamed of the ignorant people that live in this county - T.B.

Lots of untold stories in that old building..Sister Mary is only one of of them.
I agree that the building should be kept in repair, at least the windows boarded up and the placed locked down.

Most of the ghosts hang out in the basement of the Old Warner Brown building. Down by the old Xray Dept.

Maybe so, that's right down from the old ER and morgue. But the top floor still the best for sightings, in my opinion.

I would love to go through that building. Is any of it used now? The new building empty too? I actually had a chance to use the helipad when it was new for a non medical event and remember the hospital well.

They have some college classes in that hospital and stuff so it's not like they can't afford to fix it!
